I have done full GAMMA installation around 7 times the past two days.
I have the correct mods enable, haven't touched it.
Patches are in the right place.
GAMMA folder and Anomaly folder is S:\Anomaly and S:\GAMMA.
"Managed Game" path is correct.
Executables paths are correct.
What am I doing wrong? I have followed all steps provided by all you kind helpers. What do you suggest I do?

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

basically run full install again, if that doesn't work re-install anomaly

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.

i deleted anomaly folder, restarted pc, redownloaded anomaly 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 with magnet link, extracted 1.5.1, booted it to main menu, did the same with 1.5.2 once i had extracted that to S:\Anomaly, loaded up MO2 and tried launching Anomaly Launcher, that worked so i pressed "play stalker anomaly" like i did before and yet again it didn't want to start

i dont know if this counts for anything but last week i did play GAMMA, it was all on my E drive. I had to delete it all due to something with my PC and when I came to the part where I had to download and install GAMMA and Anomaly again I decided to put in on my SSD instead

Hey, I don't know if this might be the right channel for this but its a constant issue I been having with Gamma. For some reason, seemingly at random, keys will stop functioning within the game. I can open a console command and still use the keys, and they clearly still have some kind of input, but for some reason it just refuses to function in game, the keys usually being Y (Which is ammo selection) and the F5 key to quicksave. Anyone else suffer from this? Anyone have any idea what might be causing this or how to fix it?

no, because the scope overlay is shader based and you have to disable all the shaders for dx8

That stuff is baked into the exes, dx8 exes in general don't work with the shaders needed to run those scopes. Just run dx10 and you'll automatically have the overlay back

quick rundown: MO2 is fine, log is fine, Anomaly folder is fine. I click "run" (in MO2), click "play stalker anomaly", splash screen, anomaly opens, screen is black, after some seconds (5-10) it closes.
the things I've tried is completely removing Anomaly, redownload 1.5.1 from #old-how-to-install, boot 1.5.1, did the same with 1.5.2 as well as the patches provided (in "GAMMA \ .Grok's Modpack Installer \ G.A.M.M.A \ modpack_patches"), opened "GAMMA installer.exe" with admin, did download and full install, opened MO2 and tried running anomaly (launcher) again.
all in that order.

Did a fresh install of Anomaly after like an 8 month break and I have mags in-game on a completely default installation. 359 mods enabled, mags redux is NOT enabled. Pic of 359 mods enabled, mags redux NOT enabled and modlist attached. Is this a change that Grok implemented in the meantime or maybe a change in Anomaly 1.5.2, or in BaS? this isn't really a technical question but how do I balance mutants in gamma? they seem so overtuned compared to base anomaly and efp for example, snorks are extremely op and have that stupid walkby hit when they didn;t even touch you, they make the game so unfun especially when going to high mutant pop areas as they deal half ur hp in a single hit and their hitboxes are janky and their movement is BUGGY and jittery. Is there some kind of mod in gamma that i can just disable or is there some settings i can adjust somehow? why is this so specific to gamma, what is causing this?

That helped me when i was at a point where i had the 359 mods "displayed" but couldn't even launch the game, now i get to the configuration of the new "run" settings and choosing the starting gear, but once i start it, it crashes.

This is what you could find:

1. xray_yournamehere.txt

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end.
DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
