So I have tried DX8 and I've noticed that my scopes have less magnification than when I play DX11. I've tried with and without the mods that should be disabled when playing DX8 and it still persists.

Scopes that offers different levels of magnifications are working fine with DX8 and they will magnify to the specified levels. However my fixed X4 scopes (PSO and other WP variants) all have levels of magnification that is akin to the free zoom you can get, in DX11 the magnification is MUCH higher than that.

Any ideas what's happening ?

yes, thats how MO2 works. downloaded mods get put into the downloads folder, then when installed a folder for that mod is created. It's so you can uninstall mods and reinstall them later or repair an installed mod

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

yes. It's always the same. It happens since I once picked my first mission from him. When I got to the first location I realized that my gear was too bad to getting even close to that thing to pick it up. So I thought I'd just improve my gear first, make couple other missions to get cash, etc. But after a while the mission failed for whatever reason. Maybe the artefacts despawned? However, I went to Kovalev then and wanted to take that mission again (or whatever he wants me to do). But now everytime I try that, the mission instantly fails. Then I can talk to him "about that job...", because somehow he doesn't know that the mission failed. And I tell him that I didn't find anything so the mission ends for him too. And then I can ask him again for a new mission - which starts the whole thing over again.

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

Okay, so I am getting a lot of crashes in the X18 labs. Dealing with the miracle machine.
