Greetings from Germany! i have an Problem. I Install everything new to Stalker Gamma and put my old Savegames into it. On my old Stalker i have like 20 installed mods, like Boomsticks and so on. Now i have the Problem, when i move with my old Savegame from Army Warehouse to Dead City (I am a Mec), the game crashes. If i move to other places, there is no Problem. I have an Backpack in the dead city on the ground (Stash), its that the problem ? Thank you for the support, love this MOD !!!!

If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

HD Models is very buggy and tend to crash easily, you can play 100 hours without a problem or crash every 5 minutes, it's not stable, especially with GAMMA

Hi, I just finished all the steps to installing Stalker Gamma and I used DX11 to launch it all was fine but whenever I click start it just loads for a bit and then ends up crashing. I hear an error notification whenever this happens but I don't see the message. I tried turning off my antivirus and launching it but I had the same problems. I tried updating Anomaly to 1.5.1.2 but after doing so clicking run no longer works and I checked if the Anomaly launcher would do the same and it did.

Don't try to disable iGPU in device manager, go to Settings > Power Management and put yourself on Performance mode

Double check also that performance mode is always set to favor graphics even when you're on battery

You can also buy them from traders, although the location is always random, so it could be anywhere.
And yes, if you buy coordinates from a trader in the northern part of the zone, it's always gonna be random.

The issue is that the game can't get your screen resolution of your monitor, so it's a hardware issue
Good news:
There is a fix that may work

1. Find the file GAMMA RC3\mods\G.A.M.M.A. UI\gamedata\scripts\ui_options.script
2. Open the document with a text editor
3. Go to the line number referenced in the error arguments
4. Replace tonumber(res[1]) with the width of your monitor (e.g. local w = 2560)
5. Replace tonumber(res[2]) with the height of your monitor (e.g. local h = 1440)
6. Save and launch G.A.M.M.A. (hopefully)

Hey ther. I just installed gamma and got it to launch. Everything was good right up until I actually started a new game. Then it crashed right away.

This is a clean install, used 7zip (didn't the first time and it didn't like that) so I'm not sure what's going on right now. Every time it crashes whatever message pops up closes before I can read it.

I have an older computer that although is SSD, it has integrated graphics. I can run vanilla with 100+ mods, 1k textures and disabling core 0 for affinity. Every time I've tried installing gamma, it has lagged horribly. Like very very very bad. I found out how to disable most of the shaders etc without it crashing, setting visual performance to min values, etc. Disabled dynamic anomaly overhaul etc. It was still unplayable. What I've done is create my own sort of modded version, with the main things minus the visuals. But I'm missing the new AI changes. AI behavior, NPCs cant see through bushes, etc. I can't find those on moddb. Are there files available for those?

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.
