DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

I am not actually sure that you can get them from ModDB. Would suggest running installer as admin, clicking "Download GAMMA data" then clicking "Only install GAMMA add-ons"

Earlier today the mod was running run just fine no issues but after I got off work this odd crash has been happening and not sure what caused it or how to fix it. Whenever I shoot at npcs it seems the game will crash often sometimes I can kill one and it won't but alot of times so far if its other stalkers or zombified stalkers the game with crash and fully exit. Any help would appreciated as I am not sure if its a mod loading order or something else.

Is there a way to reset GAMMAs keybinds? My default keybinds are whack.

You were supposed to either reply to my message or ping me, could have missed your message.
You seem to lack both GitHub and ModDB mods, this means that it is somewhat tedious to manually install the mods.
I recommend coming back tomorrow and doing the install the way I told you to again, this time have extra patience with the mods hanging.

I say come back tomorrow because sometimes that helps with the download servers, you could also try running a VPN and trying again right now.

When doing the install tomorrow take note of hanging mods again, it should be possible to manually install if truly necessary.

Sorry if this is something I could hunt down in the pinned messages. Having some issues with first launch. Error pops up with "cannot open instance 'portable' the managed game was not found in INI file A:/GAMMA/ModOrganizer.ini. Select the game managed by this instance." I've got a bug with the AS Val where if an NPC is using the weapon, the shooting sound from the gun originates from the Player (me) and not from the NPC. Causes random AS Val shooting noises that break immersion that are coming from NPCs that are usually on the other side of the map.

So, i got this bug, busy hand bug to be exact, happen everytime i try to reload+unjam a weapon (usually shotgun). I have all the 300+ mod,no mag redux , no extra animation, didn't enable anything weird, straight up vanilla Gamma... I have a mid-late game saves and i was fine till that point where i have to pick up broken weapon to survive, and the bug occur. I have test a lot and it's seem that shotgun unjam is the easiest to replicate. All you need to do is pick up a low condition shotgun, reload + unjam a few time. Eventually both animation seem to be play at the same time and the bug happened. I even disable the unjam reload same button mod and the bug still occur. Try to reload a jam shotgun then unjam it + vice vesa sure activate the bug after a few try. Does anyone have this problem and how can i fix it. I only notice this till now because i alway fix the gun before i use them. I can still play the game if i stay alway from using broken gun, but this really break the immersive to me

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

guys I have this one problem , I searched here in the discord server and tried to google it for a solution but no luck on finding any fixes . Everytime I enter Red forest my hp/limb bars are kinda disappearing and stop working and my FOV changes slightly without me doing anything . Also when i try to loot something/someone in the Red forest I cant do it with Shift and it forces me to loot each item manually . A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

That's just volume, it wouldn't stress your DAC/Mobo in the same way as maxing your I/O by loading. If the DAC has enough voltage from the USB port it won't have any issues.
Either way it's probably not your headphones at fault

I faced the issue when LIVING LEGEND quest dissapeared from PDA before I took the TITANITE SHARD in control room. Could it be the reason that after killing MONOLITH GUY with gauss gun I entered Control Room from north enter (directly into place where it should be spawned) and not from south? And also shard was not spawned there in the room with three phantoms and quest dissapeared from PDA. I "talked" with MONOLITH and quest FIND MONOLITH was accepted, but I didn't choose any of variants on it. As result LIVING LEGEND isn't finished and I can't start MORTAL SIN line. Would be fine atleast to start MORTAL SIN somehow without finished LEGEND...

Send your crash log where it was asked IF YOU ARE BEING HELPED, not inside #🤖bot-commands if you're using this command in this channel.
You won't be helped, it's literally just a channel where you can use commands.

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:
Anomaly/appdata/logs.

This is what you could find:

1. xray_yournamehere.txt
2. xray_yournamehere.log
3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end.
DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.
