If anything it acts more like a debuff, and i haven't found an option myself ingame, that disables that

1.) search for Graphics Settings in your taskbar/desktop search bar
2.) click browse below add an app

5.) when prompt, select High Performance and if not, click x-ray monolith engine, then click options to set to high performance

It seems that BOTH mods are bugged and can reset your FOV or hud FOV when you use those features. Hey folks, I recently a weird Busy Hands bug. Context: I was tasked to kill a Duty group in AW. Killed the dude and looted his shotgun. The quirk here was when I tried to unjam the gun, the gun would get lowered down and the sound would be played, but it would just stuck there. I couldn't pull out my handgun nor my knife, nor anything at all. I could open my inventory and interact with it. I could also quicksave and reload the Busy Hands save to resolve the issue itself, which is very weird since Busy Hands would just crash the game if i were to attempt saving then reload. The shotgun here is the Protecta, a badly damaged one, at around 23-ish%.

Hey guys, so I ended up reinstalling gamma and anomaly entirely. After troubleshooting a few things I was able to get the game to load and it looks 20x better than what I was originally playing and runs even better! The only problem I have right now is every time I open the main menu in game, it crashes. Any ideas on why?

Also when I load the main menu at start-up, going to the settings section causes the crash as well.

Not sure if it will show up on log, when the crash happens the screen just goes black on main menu. I still hear music and everything but nothing happens and I have to open task manager and close it manually. I tested it extensively last night I can run around and do everything (with improved graphics at like 80+ fps) not sure why it suddenly looks a lot better and runs better but im loving it. But the moment I open the menu no matter where im at stutter...then fade to black and just stays there.

xray is a weird thing. can you go to your Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx and see if changing it in there from fullscreen to borderless (or the other way around) does anything for you?

Restarting the game usually helps.
Or going to weather options in game, changing a value, then back and then taking a nap for a few hours can force refresh the weather

ok so basically this is what the problem is like now. I set the weather to storm 1 or storm 2, and then everything is fine. As soon as thunder occurs, the crazy unveiling of god unleashes his wrath and doesn't switch off until i open the weather menu again, which resets it.

A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

Because busyhands grows like a virus and at one point will just bcome so bad that you'll have to start a new game.
