A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:

1. Open the game
2. Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3. Search SSS Settings

I'm on a not updated version, so in that regard wondering, does it increase space in the drive when updating usually, as in what being used or a minimum available, as i am limited on space currently.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1. Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2. Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3. Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4. While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5. After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
   Bonus) You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.

The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

no, it was the game launching in a super tiny rez and it constrained my mouse to a tiny little area in the already small window. The fix was to change/lower my resolution a bunch till it was fullscreen and change from there then set back to the correct res

Hello. My left hand is on the barrel instead of tactical grip on some weapons with it.
I tried some weapons from my stash and noticed: when I pick up the M4 Butcher my left hand slide from a tactical grip to the barrel(like it M-16 rifle).
Played with 85 FOV before I remembered that there was a limitation(BaS). But it's same on 70 FOV. So I'm not sure: is it FOV caused it? How do I fix this?

You need to enable a mod in MO2: Quick Companion Teleport

When you're in game, press J. Be sure to be close to them, 200m is the maximum distance you can be far from them, don't go over 300m.
Also, if their health bar is grey, that means that you're far from them and they won't "hear" you.
You'll need to get more close to them, sometimes you'll need to be right next to them in order to "teleport" them.

Is the issue regarding AMD rigs and X-Ray still a thing in 2022? I reinstalled Gamma on a new system and I'm getting about 30-45 frames with a R5 5500, RX 6600 and 16 GB DDR4 @ 3200.

For context, I had ~70-80 frames on my old rig which had a 2600 instead of a 5500.

I just updated. My AK-74u tactical will not accept mags anymore. I can't use it at all. I was using the 60 round mags which dont fit.. I loaded into this save with a 45 round mag inside the gun (I never had a 45r mag, so it ate one of my 60 round mags) and even that 45 round mag wont go back in.

Can anyone help me, I get stuttering while playing. I have followed the (!stutter) fix guide to a T. Testing at each individual step as well as all options active at once. I have rerun the GAMMA data and Full GAMMA installation multiple times (when required / when attempting a fix) I have disabled all shaders ingame (via the home key) I have disabled Core 0 using the recommended third party software. I have tried various versions of DX, I have tried with and without "prefetch sounds" and AVX support. By default I have the 357 mods enabled as installed. Nothing fixes my stutter.

Updated game yesterday, got it all working fine. Played last night and a little this morning. Then I get a random crash. Now when i load it back up, my HP and limbs are all at zero, and i have symptoms of busy hands (no guns, can't open inventory etc).

I haven't messed with any animation mods or anything like that.

Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

wanted to report a bug: The longer you play, the more you get a delay on your savegame/playthrough when looting dead bodies or or pressing open inventory key. the delay is like 1 second. when you start a new game, there is zero delay, instant opening inventory and bodies. is that a memory/savegame leak? any fixes for that?

Hello! This is repost. My left hand is on the barrel instead of tactical grip on some weapons with it.
I tried some weapons from my stash and noticed: when I pick up the M4 Butcher my left hand slide from a tactical grip to the barrel(like it M-16 rifle).
Played with 85 FOV before I remembered that there was a limitation(BaS). But it's same on 70 FOV. So I'm not sure: is it FOV caused it? How do I fix this?
