Game load times are absolutely absurd and I haven't changed anything recently. They weren't bad after the update, but they are now. I noticed that my user.ltx reset despite replacing it with my backup after the update. I changed my settings back to normal. I also used the recommended third party software to disable core 0 recently, but I don't understand how any of these things would just make the initial load times insane.

yeah that's the fun part, the whole console is nothing but error messages; not finding the URI, ItemNotFoundExeptions, ObjectNotFound, 'Cannot find path' to the Grok's modpack Installer because it 'doesn't exist' ... Yet it always completes the installation without a hitch and opens the game to main menu with no issues, but when I load a new game it crashes while loading the game, or it starts a new game with black screen with HUD visible... So after third attempt to install this modpack I just chse to ignore the black console messages all together, for they're pure nonsense

hi there, really would like to get my game rebooted properly. It was working well for a week, I had a fair amount of progress in game when psy storms started crashing my game. I was told to reload mods. Then I was told to download the update again, since then my anomaly folder is jacked up and I'm spending all my free time troubleshooting rather than playing the game, which is a real downer. I have the saved games folder set aside. my anomaly folder looks like this since last night after I was told to download the update again to that folder. and i can't boot the game now.

I solved the problem by looking inside the .ini file of the Portable instance and at the bottom python.dll was blacklisted, i deleted the string and changed the value of blacklisted files from 1 to 0. Hope this helps others.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. folder and ONLY delete the "mods" folder you'll find inside. Leave the rest untouched, you don't need to delete anything else
2. Move your G.A.M.M.A. folder to the new location

When you have finished moving everything to the new location:

1. Run the installer as admin
2. Click on 1. Allow Powershell scripts
3. Click on 2. Launch MO2
4. Select your Anomaly folder
5. Click on Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then click on Full G.A.M.M.A. installation

Question for potential clerical error. In the installation it mentions making sure that the games should be in the drive root (which I have done) and potentially have the name of GAMMA or Anomaly. But do they have to be named that? Say I wanted to label both files with STALKER [Mod]. Would that matter?

This is a general DON'TS about what you CAN'T do with G.A.M.M.A., just to easily avoid problems:

• NEVER, NEVER, NEVER extract Anomaly AND G.A.M.M.A. in Desktop, Download, Documents, OneDrive, Program Files and/or Program Files (x86).
  NEVER.
  Anomaly and GAMMA have to be in TWO SEPARATE DIFFERENT FOLDERS.
  Installing them together in one big singular folder WILL RESULT IN PROBLEMS.
  You can have something like this directly in the root of your hard drive/SSD:

C:\Anomaly
C:\G.A.M.M.A. RC3

THIS IS AN EXAMPLE, you can use whatever drive you want or create multiple folders, you can even have Anomaly in C: and G.A.M.M.A. in D:.
AS LONG AS EVERYTHING IS SEPARATED AND NOT INSIDE A SINGLE FOLDER.

• KEEP IN MIND AND REMEMBER that performing many Full G.A.M.M.A. installation or MD5 Check WILL GET YOU FLAGGED AS A BOT BY Moddb FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR.
  It's either the installation OR the MD5 check.
  You can check if you’re blocked by going on Moddb. You simply need to open the site, if you're blocked, you'll know it instantly, you'll see a giant red screen with a warning.
  Another way to tell if you're blocked is by checking the command window the installer open, if you see a bunch of errors that never stops, maybe you’re blocked.
  Check also your mod list as well, it's full of red crosses? It's another sign that you are blocked on Moddb and you didn't download anything.

• Make sure you're using the latest installer (version 3.8) that you can get in #📢announcements (or type !installer in #🤖bot-commands) and make sure to open it with admin rights.

• WARFARE ISN'T SUPPORTED, USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Guys I started a new playthrough on the current modlist.
For some reason almost all the places I go to are empty. No bandits, no stalkers in the northern farm in Cordon except for traders.
All the main NPC's like traders and questing are there, but almost no others.
Rookie Village in Cordon was just fine as usual though.

@keen cedar wasn't able to replicate my earlier problem. I'm assuming it might be due to my CPU performance being bad in conjunction with something else relating to the gun, but I truly don't know. If I'd not gotten that error message, I'd have just assumed it was CPU related. Let me know what log file you're looking for, as I only know where the Anomaly appdata log is. Also, I seem to have run into this issue while changing a graphics setting lol.

I'll take a screenshot if I see them again, but they look like they are supposed to be emulating a reflection, but they just look like texture errors.

Anyone have any recommendations for fps issues? I have had some spikes here or there but when I enter Prypiat it is unbearable. I updated gamma and now crash upon entering everytime. Would a reinstall fix this issue? I’ve tried DX11 and 10, tweaked grass, render, and other settings suggested through forum posts but nothing really helps the frame issue. In the Miracle Machine my companions follow me, and it will consistently crash my game and corrupt any saves in there. If I tell my companions to wait at the beginning everything works fine. When trying to load any of the corrupted saves the CPU spikes to 100%.

no, just double check https://moddb.com to make sure you aren't flagged as a bot - if you aren't just run the installer as admin, click "Download GAMMA Data", once that's finished click "Full GAMMA Installation". I suggest you choose mirror 127 or 128 in the installer as well

That's the only log that I have, so maybe it updated whenever I relaunched. As for the gloss, there's "specular gloss" in the actual game settings (can't set to 0 unless it's through config iirc), but I've yet to look at ReShade options for it. What ReShade presets are you using rn?

Idk if this is a bug or not but I have mutant pop turned down to minimum, but even with that, upon entering dark valley I ran into 4 lurkers, 3 packs of dogs, a pseudo giant, 2 packs of cats, 2 snorks, 6 or 7 boars, a few fleshes, and a chimera all within a few minutes of loading in. When I started engaging the chimera the game straight up crashed

1. Go in this folder: GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches
2. Copy these three folders (check pic)
3. Go to your Anomaly folder
4. Paste these three folders (check pic)
5. Overwrite/replace all if asked
   It won't delete your save files.
