It's the new DOF effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in MCM Settings (press ESC - Mod Configuration Menu)
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable options you don't like

IMPORTANT POTENTIAL FIX: I believe my problem with obtaining The Call to the North quest is the fact that I killed Gatekeeper prior to turning off the Brain scorcher as Free Stalkers are hostile to Mercenaries and I did not know any better as this is my first playthrough.

That being said, Barkeep, Aslan, hell even a freshly spawned in Gatekeeper had no info to advance the quest HOWEVER out of frustration I shot Doctor in the head with the gauss rifle at point blank range and he dropped a key, once I looted said key I got a major storyline quest update that is asking me to search several spots in search of strelok.

Just let me know if you ever find a way to get better performance. I'm in warfare mod which is most likely the culprit but it's feels choppy naturally and when I go anywhere where a large number of people are fighting the game just loses it and eats all my frames. Never seems to be using more than 60% on my GPU though

all the mods are auto downloaded from moddb.com using the installer, you might be flagged as a bot, just go there and take a screen cap

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:
Anomaly/appdata/logs.

This is what you could find:

1. xray_yournamehere.txt
2. xray_yournamehere.log
3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with anything at the end.
DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.
