DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

So, after a couple hours of troubleshooting I still haven't been able to solve this error. Tried dragging the 1.5.2 update and using the installer, copying the folders from gamma modpack into the anomaly folder, even did a complete reinstall and it didn't go away. I’m reposting my question from this morning: So I did a full reinstall because my shaders were screwed up and now my scope visuals look weird. Theres no movement blur or anything like that. Before, when I scoped in on a weapon, the parts of the screen outside the scope were blurred, and when moving/gun recoil, the viewing angle of the scope would move, like a vignette.

Anyone know if it's normal for the north to be empty and barran (of common stalker squads), after I did "delete common squads" from debug menu? About +1 week of ingame time has passed since then, and my Yanov station in Jupiter is pretty much empty

I don't know the workings of the game well enough, but my guess is, that if the achievement "Duga Free" from turning off the Brain scorcher added more squads to the north. Then maybe Delete common squads deleted them all, and they aren't repopulating?
(I used delete common squads cause I kept crashing in Zaton, from searching here on Discord, it sounded like a ammo problem on random stalker squads)

When I reach a certain place at CORDON - my game BUGS very hard.

1. I Don't see factions of people I aim at.
2. I can't do quests properly(I have stuff in inventory, can't hand it)
3. I don't see my own HEALTH, no matter what I do.

5. Game CRASHES when changing location/loading save file.

the only thing you can do is to reload a save prior to the current point to be honest. It's just how the quests work. If the NPCs you're supposed to meet/turn the quest in is dead, spawning them back into the Zone won't change anything, unless that NPC is part of a story questline, then maybe there's still hope. You'll be moved to the next stage of that quest. Otherwise, there's nothing else you or anyone here can do to help

The method I provided is the "spawn at player", forgot to mention that, so be sure to tick that box. It's late now so I'm too busy to open up the game for the "spawn at smart terrain" method, but it should still work.

hey my game started crashing a day after installing. I get a massive stutter followed by a black screen and then it crashes and after couple secs i get an error message (added screenshot). Im also having quite a few stutters ( tried all the recommned steps from the stutter command). Currently i have 337 mods active ( anti stutter activated)

I downloaded and successfully installed, updated, and ran Anomaly. I Just downloaded the GAMMA file, unzipped into a new folder in my F drive named "Gamma". It gave me a folder named "downloads" after unzipping. I dont see a folder named "Groks Modpack Installer" (Step 5 under Installation). Do I need to unzip some other way?

1. I Don't see factions of people I aim at.
2. I can't do quests properly(I have stuff in inventory, can't hand it)
3. I don't see my own HEALTH, no matter what I do.
4. When talking with npc - it doesn't zoom into them, like usual.
5. Game CRASHES when changing location/loading save file.

I am looking for ways to fix it WITHOUT loading previous savefile.

Loading previous saves DIDN'T Work because it keeps happening.
I loaded save for 4 hours before noticing bug, went there through entire location, no bug.
2-3 hours later, same place, same bug.

What was done:

Mods that were intially there, above 336 - removed till gone back to 336.

Stutter mod
Mutant unstucker
Mutant Bleed.

Removed those mutant unstucker, mutant bleed - no change in problem.

Removed Stutter mod - Every quest got completed, some bugs disappeared, some did partially.

After Fresh installation of mods, bug was gone.
After I set up mod settings again - it was BACK.

I did reinstall mods again and it worked fine, w/o bug.
SO I started digging.

I changed settings one by one till I found what made game glitch the F out.
I Have my changes screened and apparently, when I Change my settings of DAO to something different - it bugs.
I do believe that DAO At Cordon>Meadow didn't spawn correctly or something and it might be fucking up game. Why there? Cause bug appears if I am in certain radius around area of that transition.
Why makes me think of that:
If I fast travel to southern parts of cordon or get to it through southern transitions(Darkscape(East)>Cordon, Swamps(South,East)>Cordon - it doesn't trigger.
If I travel Garbage(South,West)>Cordon - it doesn't trigger.
But
If I travel Garbage(South)>Cordon
or Approach farm after travelling Garbage(South,West)>Cordon
or Approach Cordon(East)>Darkscape
or Approach bridge
then Bug appears.
Im in process of finding out what setting makes game bug on me, and I'll edit this message to update it. Also a pic of one of problems this bug causes.

I Do believe I found it.

I Reinstalled Gamma mods, and gone in game.
In mod settings of DAO I checked Enable Anomalies Dynamic Behaviour.
Loaded up, approached buggy "Radius"/Location/etc. - Bug appeared.

Loading a save w/o Dynamic anobalies behaviour. No bug appeared.

Help, my weapons keep "disappearing" after jamming, or when i get shot/hit. What I mean is that I have no viewmodel, cant shoot, or switch weapons. I have no idea why
I Tried Re-Equipping the gun, and using an item. Using an item makes the gun appear at the hands of the actor, plays the animation, and stays there after the animation is over, which is when it lets you use it for about 2 seconds, before holstering the gun.

well, you can try reloading a prior save, see if the problem is still there. If it is, I can only suggest a full reinstallation. It will reset everything. 3) Run the installer as admin, click on Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then on Full G.A.M.M.A. installation.

Moving Anomaly:
1) Move the Anomaly folder to the new location
2) Go to your GAMMA folder
3) Delete ModOrganizer.ini file. It should be below the ModOrganizer.exe application
4) Launch Mod Organizer (click on the ModOrganizer.exe file in the same GAMMA folder)
5) Press OK, then Browse, then select your Anomaly folder. Done.

I've been to Dead City under disguise and everyone was friendly
Then I've cleared it without disguise (as a renegade) without killing/hurting any important characters (100% sure, was always looking at the names before pulling the trigger), but for some reason they remain enemies when I switch back to the disguise
Will they become friendly again after some time? 🤔

I think if you have yet to shoot at them (the important NPCs) then they will cease aggroing you after some time, then you just need to re-apply your disguise

Hello everybody, I just had a strange "bug", I'm not sure whether it actually is one, where all white stash locations are no longer displayed on the PDA.
They are still there, I checked to stashes that I still knew from memory, but only the green ones are displayed on the map.

posting again to see if i can get help: So I did a full reinstall because my shaders were screwed up and now my scope visuals look weird. Theres no movement blur or anything like that. Before, when I scoped in on a weapon, the parts of the screen outside the scope were blurred, and when moving/gun recoil, the viewing angle of the scope would move, like a vignette.

Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.

Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.
