I remember there being a lot of mutant spawns and anomalies, so many things could be going wrong at that point so I couldnt really tell you

best possible advice I have for you is backing up your saves if you want to keep them, completely deleting gamma and anomaly, and restarting. sorry

sooo, I just had a weird ass crash that also managed to clip my audio from my PC. I personally can't see a crash in the log and it was working fine this whole except for the last 10min where I got the issue that my characters status bar (bottom left) was all in the red, taking meds didn't play any animation and didn't heal.
I don't think it's the busyhands bug, since I never enabled any of the animations. The only major change I did with my character was to use the MP7 and SR-25 from my weapons.

And I have not changed my FOV to cause this so this is something new thats happening. Unless it was something that was done in the patch is there a way to permanently adjust your camera position?

@hardy oxide oh hey... I figured out how to remove BaS and not have my game CTD... for future reference if someone comes here wanting to remove BaS from their install, as far as I can tell, all you have to do is disable gamma weapon pack, which mostly just overwrites BaS weapons anyways

i'll test more to see if the game actually survives without BaS/ if theres anything else id need to find and remove

I was having issues with updating the game for days, so i completely re-installed anomaly and gamma. full install worked just fine. added my save files back into the game anomaly folder, and was able to load the save files. BUT I was unable to load the last save file that's in Rostock, nor can I travel to Rostock in any way. each and every time leads to a crash. this text box would only show up a couple times. is there a way to fix this?

Stashes are empty by default; you will have to find or get coordinates to actually find something in them.
These coordinates can be obtained as rewards by completing quests, by reading PDAs that you can find on the bodies of stalkers you kill and you can even threaten wounded stalkers to get them, before you kill them.

You can also buy them from traders, although the location is always random, so it could be anywhere.
And yes, if you buy coordinates from a trader in the northern part of the zone, it's always gonna be random.

no - it's basically an animation loop that stops you from being able to do anything because the game is convinced the animation isn't over. in your case, it sounds like dying to the controller (which has an animation involved) put your save in an animation loop

1. Open the installer with admin rights
2. Click on Only install G.A.M.M.A. addons

Keybinds
To bring your keybinds to default, DON'T press the default button in the menu, you'll mess up everything.
Instead, do this:

1. Go in GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2. Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there (note that every change made by you in your user.ltx will be reverted to default)

Quick question about Mags Redux - When you loot NPCs that have guns with magazines, are the magazines supposed to be all empty and the NPCs have a few rounds floating in their inventory too? That's been my experience with this mod, and wanted to confirm if that's supposed to be the case. I've followed the "!mags" command as well.
I ask because when I used Mags Redux prior to Gamma, looted magazines were usually partially filled.

To unlock every faction from the beginning, you can type greh/renegades/isg/z when you start a new game in the character creation screen.
Since this sound strange, I literally mean "TYPE WITH YOUR KEYBOARD", you don't have an option where you can type in, like a console command.

For example, if you LITERALLY WRITE on your keyboard isg, and then you open the faction menu, you'll see the UNISG icon. Same goes for the rest.

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

Sorry for interrupting but every time I try launch GAMMA it closes and the mod organizer refreshes and the only error is the head damage one. I try the one posted fix but it doesn't change anything at all.

I included the guide to spawn Scar during the Clear Sky quest line (added "select level" & "select smart" so he can be spawned by players regardless of where they are in the Zone).

Updated guide on how to spawn Senior Lieutenant Kirilov in Agroprom. It's "Spawn at player" method instead of using "Spawn at smart terrain" like before. (i didn't use the "spawn at cursor" suggested earlier because it's not consistent @lunar narwhal).

Added a section at the very top of the guide that explains the limitations of spawning in NPCs in Anomaly/GAMMA & the current scope of the guide.
