DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

If someone gets a chance, ive got an issue where the game crashes whenever i try to enter Aprogrom Underground. It will load for a sec, and shows the preview pictures on the loading screen(s), but it just crashes shortly afterwards and i cant make it past the loading screen lol. Ive tried all entrances but its just the same result. Ive tried clearing shader cashe but dont know what it might be past that. Ive also looked online to see if people are having similar issues but cant find anything that really sounds like what's happening on my end. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated!

hello, i asked earlier this morning and i hate to be a pain but i cant seem to figure out what mod is causing a severe FPS hit when staring at walls, or other surfaces really close. FPS goes back up when i back away. So something to do with wall textures. I tried all settings and lowered them and doesnt make a difference.

my fps is 70+ easily with all mods enabled and default settings. when staring at walls right on top it drops to below 30

I'm catching up with your fps thread. Ya, issues with frame rate can be hard to nail down. Turning down graphics settings till it gets better can help. One other weird thing I can suggest looking at related to frame drops when close to things or when shooting. IF specifically you have an NVIDIA card. Make sure that low latency mode is set to OFF.

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

How do I see what the newest mod that was added was?
I tried flicking around the channels here in discord and also sorting by date inside the downloads folder of GAMMA, but didn't come to any conclusive results, since only 2 mods have been added since I started playing.

The general rule of thumb is, you can only spawn unique NPCs. NPCs spawned by the game with random name can not be spawned to achieve the goal you're aiming to, even if they're part of a quest (unless they have a unique name, which is only allocated to story quest NPCs). You can spawn the same type of that NPC, or even the NPC with the same look/model, but you can't spawn the exact NPCs with the same name & memories of the missing/dead ones you're trying to replace. That's the cold hard truth.

You can try spawning them if you don't wanna take my words for it (see the pics).

If you're wondering, I'm one of the 3 guys behind the guide to spawn the unique NPCs in the game. The only reason said guide only covers the stationary, unique NPCs but not the quest-related ones are simple:
.You have to initiate the quest to get their ID
.These NPCs have different unique IDs at different stages of the same quests, so that's a no go, for now.

I find it funny, that some people here actually try to spawn back their non-unique companions. I mean, can't you just reload a save where they were still alive?

Also, regarding quest NPCs that don't have unique IDs, like the captain at the Pump Station in Clear Sky's Daily Quest, that quest is known to be buggy. The rule of thumb is, make a save before taking a quest, no not the quick save, but a named save. Change the option in the game to enable up to 20 file saves, you won't regret it.
Another possible solution for this is to reload a save where the quest is still active and not initiated (the captain is not talked to, yet he's gone), try this spawn command (follow pic 1 & 2): drx_march_task_5_csky_squad
This will spawn a whole squad of Clear Sky, and they look like the squad waiting for you at the station.

If this can't help then I honestly don't know how, you will have to reload a save prior to taking that quest.

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed

First time having a problem with crashing. Cleared the bandit base, saved. Go out to find/kill the tech and I crash around the same time everytime. This time I got

Hi, my game keeps crashing for no apparent reason. Im currently assaulting the mili base in cordon and the game just decides it does not want any part of that mid way through. It crashed twice while I was in that area and was just walking around. Anybody help? Crash to desktop ofc

Also I think that actually fixed it, I used to have this weird thing where when I'd headshot people it'd make a splash of oversized blood particles up around 'em but it never hurt anything, just looked a little odd. didn't notice them half the time-- don't have that at all anymore

3. Choose between Full G.A.M.M.A. installation" OR Only install G.A.M.M.A. Addons.
   Before you ask: NO, YOU DON'T NEED TO CLICK THEM BOTH. ONLY ONE. AND NO YOU WON'T DOWNLOAD EVERYTHING AGAIN.
   If you're missing something in your mod list, you will, of course.
