GAMMA isn't multiplayer. There's no multiplayer mod for Anomaly or Open XRay engine currently. There's no multiplayer open world mod currently publicly released for stalker games. xrMPE is a match based coop experience that is available, it has the most solid netcode but it's not open world. Stalker R.A.D. is open world and is based on CoP+Gunslinger but isn't publicly available. Ray of Hope is open world and in closed alpha.

So I figured, "hey maybe its shader related... oh look at this handy "delete shader cache" checkbox on the anomaly launcher!" evidently that a was a very bad idea. Now when I load or launch a game in anomaly or gamma, I see the UI, but the entire gameworld is just a black screen.

really seems like I had some sort of issue revolving around storing stuff in a stash in abandoned hospital. my save/load times got awful, framerates got significantly worse, and the game in general was much less stable around the same time I stored stuff in there; all those issues resolved when I cleared my stuff from that stash.

well. Let's assume you are doing ironman run and taking comps. You either take them to assist you in difficult areas or they are given by quests. If you just tell comps wait here then solo clear the area and then "follow me" they are kinda useless. The only places when I felt that comps were useful are foliage heavy areas where they can spot enemies better than me

Hello, this has probably been answered multiple times, but I tried everything that I could find in the discord without success. For some reason I can't change faction. I started as a loner and I want to join Clear Sky. I've done some missions for them (trader is lvl 3), but speaking to the faction leader (which I think is the guy that sits behind a desk and initially gives you missions to kill renegades/military) does not bring a dialogue option to switch faction. @north turret okay what you're trying to do is a bit difficult. Every mod is built on each other, patches galore within and outside the modpacks. And the GAMMA installer works basically on a set of instructions downloaded from Github, meaning, the developers have to code in manually instructions for each update.

Keeping that in mind, your idea CAN theoretically work if you know exactly what is independent and works on its own (Pro tip: it's not just addons labeled G.A.M.M.A, there's much more to it than that I'm afraid), you can use it to keep your modlist updated. But you're really hampering yourself here, and it'd be much easier to create a modlist and ask in STALKER Anomaly server for patching support

So I updated and reinstalled GAMMA according to #💽how-to-update because of UI issues and what I believe to be the empty hand issue. Now the game works but unique PDAs dropped from others show the personal PDA UI instead of the unique message UI, so I cant read the messages and access whatever information contained within. Is this an old save issue and did I just further wreck my playthrough by updating?

I just had my savegame corrupted by BUSYHANDS again and I think it was triggered when using the portable workbench. Is that thing even necessary, the workbench I mean? I had a free weapon slot while accessing it's menu and for some reason it auto equipped a gun from inside my workbench stash temporarily. This resulted in any savegame after being corrupted by BUSYHANDS. I'd really like to know if that thing is even needed to be build if we got the toolkits anyway. Already had to delete a corrupted 15+ days playthrough due to it and I'd like to get rid of as many triggers as possible.
