• Started a new save
• Changed my FOV, HUD FOV, mouse sensitivity and aim sensitivity
• Changed from fullscreen to borderless and back again
  Stayed on DX11-AVX the whole time. Also panic-changed my resolution but I don't think that had anything to do with it

slow framerate shit. i did the thing to permanently turn off core 0. i'm running it in dx8. i'm pretty sure i installed the classic textures properly. all the shaders #old-framerate-optimisation says to turn off are turned off. the grass is turned off. i clicked the thing to click when stuttering occurs. but it still doesn't want to run smoothly. laptop, so like, i'm aware some large part of it is potato specs, but this laptop isn't even very old.

or better yet, enable DEBUG mode and in the MAIN MENU, press F2, you will be taken to a TEST map, there go to a corner and you will be teleported to GREAT SWAMPS, but the map will be empty, that means 0 npcs. there you can check your fps and see if it runs atleast stable if 0 npcs

THE MULTIPLE FILES ARE MIRRORS YOU ONLY NEED ONE 8.2Gb FILE. No need to get the 2.4Gb file because you already downloaded it to get the client.

After using the workaround it doesn't crash on shooting, but instead it reverts any adjusted scope hud setting back to gamme default. Have to aim again. Is that due to the enahcned recoil rebalance script?

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

THE MULTIPLE FILES ARE MIRRORS YOU ONLY NEED ONE 8.2Gb FILE. No need to get the 2.4Gb file because you already downloaded it to get the client.
2- Go to GAMMA RC3 folder, move the archive there, right click it and "extract here" using 7zip so it creates the folder GAMMA RC3/downloads which will be now filled with zip archives.

hey, slight problem I am having. I like to use z as my crouch button but whenever I push the button it tears my patch off and puts it back on when I uncrouch. Something else anyone can try that is having stuttering issues is, Go to your mod manager and search for "alife optimization" Right click and Open in explorer> Open gamedata>Configs> Open "alife.ltx" with notepad> Change auto_switch from false to true> Save. You have to obtain the stash coords from someone before items spawn in them

Stashes are empty by default; you will have to find or get coordinates to actually find something in them. These coordinates can be obtained as rewards by completing quests, by reading PDAs that you can find on the bodies of stalkers you kill, you can even threaten wounded stalkers to get them, before you kill them.
You can also buy them from traders, although the location is always random, so it could be anywhere.

Inside these stashes you can find toolkits.

In the south part of the Zone (everywhere UNDER Red Forest) is where you'll find Basic and Advanced.
In the north part of the Zone (INSIDE Red Forest and ONLY NORTH from there) is where you'll find Expert, along the other two.
You also have the gunsmithing toolkit, which is used to craft ammunition of all kinds and you also have the drug making kit, used to create drugs and medicines.

Depending on the location, north or south:
White stashes have a small chance of finding ANY toolkit inside, this means that you can find ONE basic/advanced/expert toolkit OR a gunsmithing toolkit OR a drug making toolkit.
Green stashes have a 100% chance of finding ONE toolkit from this specific pool: Basic, Gunsmithing or Drug Making kit. Advanced and Expert are random and depend on the area the stash spawned in.

it seems that the looting/ other hotkeys just randomly stop working after firefights

im kind of new to the gamma modpack is there a mod that degrades artifacts? kinda confused when i pickup a 100% condition artifact then it immediately degrades into 10-30% condition before i put it into a lead container..

Yeah most artifacts by default are in low condition

You need the artifact melter to basically "power them up", fuse them with other artifacts to make them strong rock

but by default they're weak rock

Hell, you can craft entirely different artifacts

That's the way the modpack randomizes the durability of your artifact loot, it isn't balanced for everything being 100%
