In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for reload and unjam
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.
On that note, are there a list of optional mods? Or how I can see them/enable them?

For each mod I would always advise to ASK how it works, what issues there are etc.
Dont touch anything underneath the Disabled separator
also 300+ mods are enough, especially when you havent even played the pack why put even more in, experience the pack as is and come back later when you know what you like/dislike

Yeah I played 20 hours when I installed gamma, I followed the tutorial on how to installed and just pressed play. Played for 20 hours and I had to start watching videos of how to properly repair stuff and I saw I was missing for example a must have for me the magazines mod
I had no idea it was a mod and I was like damn I wish this had a tarkov like magazine system, turns out there is. Now Iām wondering what else Iām missing
not much imho - i personally dont use the minimap but instead the compass, mags is there as an optional. Companion teleport if you play with em is useful i guess. the "stutter" addon for performance but otherwise the pack is very stable and and brings everything I'd want to the table out of the box

its disabled because it causes issues, its under the disabled separator so dont enable it

And you'll also ask: "What about the other disabled mods that aren't under the "Disabled" category, then?". Don't enable them if you don't know what you're doing. Ask in #šØbase-gamma-support before doing anything.
DO NOT ENABLE ANIMATIONS THAT ARE DISABLED BY DEFAULT, IN MCM IN GAME OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE MOD LIST, they're disabled for the same reasons written above. If you use them, forget about #old-bugs or #šØbase-gamma-support, don't use these two channels. Use #šØmodded-gamma-support instead.

Ah I assumed lesser condition impacted their stats. What does lesser condition do besides increase jamming?
the overall condition of the gun only increases how fast parts condition decreases as it goes down, while each part's condition increases jamming chance (except the barrel that controls the damage and AP power of the ammo shot from the weapon)
lower overall condition = faster part degradation (in-case my first explanation was too confusing)
lower part condition = higher chance for jams

Stashes now have limited carry weight. To store many items, you need to craft boxes where you'll have more space to store your loot. This change was made so that base building mechanics has an in-game purpose.
It forces the player to think about what he/she chooses instead of piling up tons of useless weapons that worsen loading times, inventory opening times, it also makes the game "lighter," all stuff related to make the game more "quicker".
If you don't like this change or maybe you're in the middle of a run and can't afford/don't want to use straight away the hideout feature, you can enable this mod under G.A.M.M.A. Fixes called "Unlimited Stashes Weight".

I just updated after a long period of time. Saved my key binds etc. Does "Update GAMMA data" followed by "Only install GAMMA add-ons" wipe out keybinds or only full installs?

It's I think an add-on called Asnen's and Grok's cigarette animations that makes it shorter, disable that and you're golden

i believe there's autohide stamina bar but thats about it, you can try to mess with the body health system in the mcm menu for the healthbar
is she dead? companions gain quite a buff so you dont have to worry about them dying much

if shes dead you can spawn her using the debugger, spawn her squad
just thinking ahead since she got down to half off some silly dogs
for general tips i usually turn off combat if i want her to just run away
and you can use move to point/stay if you want her to stay back somewhere
also give her some good guns since she only has like a pistol iirc, most of the time my companions just smack the shit out of mutants

there was a mod somewhere that made companions pretty much immortal they would fall down and be downed for a time you could heal them and stuff but no perma deaths

I don't think you can disassemble shovels with Swiss or grooming I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you can only do clothes with grooming and Swiss adds some stuff to that, but I don't believe it's does shovels, guns, llmcs, or anything that is "constructed" if that makes sese

hi all. I play with the magazines redux addon, but all magazines of the enemies are empty. what could be the problem?

Did the rewards for Noahs missions change? I did both the snork hunting missions and the mission to get him a new armsel protecta and both times I got nothing for a reward.
I recently noticed that a couple of the main Vendors I use had expanded with new items for sale.
I looked around and I can see that they have a displayed supply level of 2 instead of 1. (or something similar if I'm miss-remembering the exact name)
How/why did this upgrade? How can I work towards upgrading it further, or upgrading other vendors while playing?
Supply level depends on your reputation with a faction, it increases in increments of 500
So supply level 1 at start, level 2 at 500 all the way to level 5 at 2000 reputation

So for some reason after updating, my companions can only carry 30kg each now, and it doesn't even change when i give them backpacks. One of them is wearing exo-suit so he should be able to carry a lot more

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:
- Press F12 in-game, look in
Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder calledoverwrite - Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
- Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you (Snipping Toolā¢ļø is subject to Windows own settings, not game settings, meaning gamma, brightness, and colour balance will be different.)

Your issue is the translation mod you added. It breaks the sleep script. If you disable that you will be able to sleep.

Hold alt and mouse over an artifact with it. It eats the arti but charges the melter
is that just on the inventory screen? Im holding alt and mousing over an artifact but there arent any options to eat it, and no new menu options
Sorry I explained incorrect. Pickup the arti melter so click and hold, then drop it on the artifact you want to eat

Could be related to the stealth patches. Try setting Stealth 2.0 to default within MCM.

You need to clean it. Once it is clean you can put in parts without a repair kit.

Yes. If the barrel is over 60% you can use the same technique shown in APART.
Otherwise you need a repair kit to replace the barrel.

Yeah make a light armor repair kit. You don't need to get every part to 100, though that is the cheapest way. You just need to get the suit to 50 and then you can burn a charge of the light armor kit to get it into repairable territory.
Then you can craft a Light Outfit Repair Kit and replace those parts.

Turns out I had a messed up folder, and the others fixed by reinstalling so once grok tests himself hopefully it will be gone again. electro resist matters for the exact moment when you step into one
and even with relatively high res you are almost one-shot anyway
the "ambient" damage they do is negligible
all the other resistance types are more worth speccing into
but u need some at least right so u dont lose too much suit durability right? or do you go in naked?
i always take the Electrical Resistance that comes with the suit and nothing more
i wont use upgrade slots for any further electrical resistance
and Camelbaks, but they reduce electrical resistance by 14% which is certain death when stepping into one

yes, disassemble it for parts or keep it for disguise

radioactive artefacts dont degrade over time, but junk ones do. you can go to the mcm > perk based artefacts and tweak the degradation on them or make it 0
dont change any of the other (artefacts condition) settings tho, they will have a big warning on them not to since they can cause issues

Do you lose rep when you get a hit man quest for an allied faction? Like if im merc and i get a quest from bandits to kill a freedomer, do i lose freedomer rep when i make the kill?

Explaining WHY you're missing something from the mod list:
Moddb isn't really suited for the installer, it's not that much ordinary to download 300+ mods casually every other day, so you can lose some files in the process, when you download them.
MO2 can't obviously know if you have everything or not. This is because, if the file structure of the mod is "okay", the mod is "okay".
Anomaly, on the other hand knows right away that something is wrong, because it has to look for certain files in certain mods, and if those files are not there, the game crashes.
to find the addon easily, just right click on it in mo2 and visit on moddb

This will work, yes, but in my view: either not fully translated names as of current, or the same names as identifiers, like choosing between bad and worst. That's why I suggested this PR for the merge only when starting a new game is necessary.
But if you think the option with a separate addon is not a bad idea, I have nothing against it. But I can't do it for now, out of town, will return in a week. Basically, it's just moving ANUS files from 228 into separate thing, then merging PR42.

The name update expands the list of names significantly, so Stalkers spawned with vanilla names only pull from the top of the list. After a week or so of simulated in-game time enough will die & respawn that youāll start seeing the full list

dont get me wrong, i can see where you guys are coming from and what you're trying to do but, personally, i believe it makes the game a whole lot more grindy, crafty oriented and also adds an extra rng factor that i dont wanna have to deal with. im simply tired of rpg mechanics
i just want to talk to a vendor, get the gun i want, and have my fun by just killing things and trying to get my sorry ass back to camp in one piece with all the loot i can carry š
and that's fine - it is modular for a reason, we just like to tease a little. 
Working towards a gun/armor feels so much better, you have a longer progression arc and will actually feel the tension of survival. Once you reach Midgame you dont need to worry about a thing as long as you engaged with the mechanics.
All in all, just as I already told ya - go to #š¤bot-commands and type !vanilla to get the full guide on how to achieve this in a few simple steps after you got the game running and installed properly

you can turn on the "Trader sell Mags" stuff from gamma (which adds guns to traders) and remove the trader preset file from gamma

so all in all, just debug yourself some guns and have fun since you don't want to spend some time grinding@quartz sinew

The TOZ can be acquired by killing Bandits, lot's of them. Not sure which other factions might bring it, probably Renegades too.

i must be really unlucky cause ive been in a constant war with the bandits and occasional renegade squad around the stalker camp north of the railway bridge š

I re downloaded anomaly and it does this
I ran the gamma launcher to update it but it doesn't change anything in mo2
If it's a total fresh anomaly in a different spot follow the instructions for #old-how-to regarding the gamma installer. I.e. run as admin -> Allow Powershell -> create a new portable instance for mo2 -> full gamma install. Make sure your anomaly is 1.5.2 and your installer is 3.7

its really annoying when you are in a battle near one of these points and you walk backwards into the exit and it takes you out and despawns the corpses

You want GPU at 99%
GPU utilizations directly corresponds to how many frames you get. Higher usage == more frames.
By freeing up some GPU stuff to CPU you get more frames.

Rostok is going to be rough. Honestly. If you turn off the helmet visuals you will get an extra 10fps on average
so its more of a to many NPC kind of a thing right

I had to do a quest in dead city for Hog, with the Merc but he is hostile towards me, attacks me with a knife all other mercs are fine only he attacks me for some reason? I'm Clear Sky faction
Managed to talk to him and get the quest while he attacked me with his knife

You dont have to save up to fix a gun.
Its literally cheaper than buying any gun with vanilla economy, even if you buy all the parts to do it.
just debug it in, save yourself any trouble

the repair and maintenance portion of gamma is fun imo
