It's STALKER, it works on single core only so processor really matter. You can have 4090 but you will still suck hard.

Expedition runs quite well. With Reshade most of the time, but I turn off fxaa & mxao in phases to keep in larger firefights smoother picture. But often it can also be deceptive due to too much AI on the grid, the CPU quickly reaches its limits because the load is not optimally distributed to the CPU cores, unfortunately.

Expedition Redux work like normal shader, so you can change it during a game? IIRC some version (complete?) of Expedition modpack isn't reversible

Well, I had made a backup in case something went wrong. But had no problem switching to Atmosphere, but then it doesn't have much to do with Expedition graphics anymore, as you can't use the VFX and shaders anymore, so it's almost gamma again, except for the HD models and other adds that don't be affected by exp shaders.

if you dont use this then it either crashes as soon as you move or your bullets dont deal any damage, so if you want sss 17.2 you need this. I also recommend you backup your sss files incase you cant get it to work, so you can turn it back to normal

I've played a lot of another huge mod, Roguetech (for Paradox Battletech), where if you disable the file verification option in the launcher and mess with them by breaking the game, you can only count on yourself to solve problems. Is there a solution - probably yes. However, it's good that in the case of GAMMA you provide some support for modded games

yes, this is the correct file. I also had an error with no grass/leaves, but not during the installation of SSS17 - it helped me to run the gamma launcher and do an update.

But I'm not suggesting anything to you, let the support people do it. I try to fix my fucked up files as much as possible on my own. Sometimes the effect is opposite to what was intended.

Screenspace shaders 17.0 was disabled but 15.0 was enabled.

sort mods by priority, then drag new SSSs to the level of other SSSs

there are people who do it and by my experience they do it late game when they're able to acquire full gear. These people unfortunately are so effed up in the head and say it's easy hunting for them when actually going through one or two fields of anomaly requires you at least 4 or 5 different drugs and 2 repair kits along within the best artifact scanner in the game (avoiding the anomaly)

so they screw up the newbies that never touched the game at all for ego, in a singleplayer experience which is even more funny

enhanced shaders causes some issues with it especially the PBR version but you can just disable that and it works fine
