so I disabled Minimalist HUD and installed Old Dog and those 2 mods you gave me link to, but its messed up, effects icons are in health bars and when I turn on BHS then my HP and radiation bars disappear, if I disable BHS they appear again, also if I go to inventory BHS appears and when I close inventory, it disappears, clearly something is messed up

and I dont have Sid HUD in my load order at all, it is not present in GAMMA, maybe its part of that Minimalist HUD? idk

This should be a consequence of having those three mods there
If moving everything to the bottom doesn't work, I suggest to move this at the bottom as well (it's disabled in the screen because I'm using the same mod but with colours, you can reinstall it and choose it from there)

yeah i asked for shabby and i ended up installing some EFP mcm edits for BHS

but noticed that if i have the health limb bars enabled in the hud while playing

i lose like 20 fps for some reason lol, maybe it's reloading the hud again and again? didn't find anything on the console, and i don't know anything about the scripts, so the solution was either come back to the only one bar enabled or hide the limbs bar while playing and only enabling it quickly to see the current health

As you can observe, I tried as well in Project Inverno, and aside of the squares, the blood doesn't move

Ok, I checked it and it's a shader problem, it's not that the blood moves, what happens is that it adjusts to the highest point of the "relief" of the texture, to explain it in a simple way, so it gives that sensation of be floating
The other textures are flat, that's why it doesn't happen, although partial bleeding can happen in any situation, since it doesn't apply well when there are texture changes.
I can't give you a solution since it is a limitation problem of the game itself, I tried it several times and it only happened to me from time to time

It looks like a weather issue to me, like it was supposed to rain, but that's Anomaly bug here, where weathers sometimes won't blend correctly

If it was supposed to rain, then the ground will look like it, but sometimes the rain itself won't happen

But if it's something regularly happening to you, and deleting the shader cache does nothing, then it comes from the ground textures

If you are unsure it it's a bug or not, ask in #old-bugs You have more chance to get a definitive answer

I based on real photos of Chernobyl to create the textures, I also added options if you prefer something very snowy or partial

In fact I did something similar to windstorm, with footprints that disappear as you go, but I didn't like the result, it would work if it was yawm, where everything is white and the textures are flat, but graupel has volume, and the textures are varied, so it looked very bad and it didn't work well.

I uploaded it here: #🖇old-mods-posting message. I recommend using the files of this reshade, otherwise the effects will look different. In the screenshot my brightness settings, etc. But I also use the Majestic weather FX and the Golden Autumn texture pack. Btw, it is better to use screen space in the graphics settings, because volumetric makes the sky too illuminated on a bright day.

I tried you reshade (ok I am not using the same weather mod yet). Looks interesting, a nice change from quantum. However my only gripe is the dynamic tonemap adapter effect, I guess it is. Here is an example. The constant change of brightness as you look up and down it's really tiring the eye as also the eye needs to adapt constantly to this abrupt change in luminosity. It's not annoying or ugly it's just tiring to the eye. It's probably tied to this particular time of the day but probably is going to be quite a constant in other weathers and time.

I love the light effect like in this video, lights seems very crips and clear as overall visuals while in quantum where a bit muddy. The mood changes totally though, this is very sober looking

I don't know exactly which of my presets you're talking about, so I assume and I'll talk about the recommended one, which I play with. If you mean the dynamic tonemap addon, I have it disabled. Also, the preset has an 'Eye Adaption' effect, you can turn it off. In addition, there is also an in-game console command to minimize this effect. But, I don't remember the exact name currently, but you can look it up.

Yes, you can adjust to your preferences by turning off the Reshade performance mode at the bottom right checkbox.

bloom strenght and saturation but there was another thing that could not fix, the intense brightness of icons in the inventory it was too blinding. At the monent I switched back to my old preset so I could play a bit the game but I really liked the look of it. I will need to spend more time tweaking it, definitely

well I am trying everything for the sake of it, this one is the last one I have been testing. some effects are fantastic we can't deny. ofcourse reshade is a very difficult tool to balance considering all the variables involved
