Gamma is more, Live in the zone. GSC games are more experience that characters story. Both have their merits.

UE5 has a lot of issues, Especially the version GSC has chosen. Xray is almost 20 years proven, We know how to do things in it that we are still learning or don't have access to on UE5.

It's an optimization issue with the engine. UE5.1 is notoriously bad with optimization. Add in the fact you need upscaling and framegen which both increase latency. It's just the perfect storm of issues.

Deprived basically starts naked - no armor - and a wooden club with a shabby wooden shield as your only 2 weapons. On the other hand, if you pick literally any other class to start out with, you begin the game with gear already. Deprived players will pick & choose whatever upgrades they can garner as they progress.

demon souls' value nowadays is basically for historical relevance. And maybe for its extremely experimental and let's say "unorthodox" design.
At least the remake gave the game some really basic qol the original lacked. Too bad so many of its bosses are legit pushovers compared to anything else, but then again it's the first game, not even FromSoft knew how to design boss encounters
