Hey guys. This is probably a question for people that have made it pretty far in game. But, long story short, I have this Corundum suit that I’m looking to replace my Guardian of Freedom + Mask 1 helmet build with.

However, I’m thinking that I should hold off until I get something potentially better. I just got to Malachite. Is it worth upgrading now that I finally have the money, or should I wait until I find some exos??

What I did was to get the diamond exo instead. But I know you don't want to cheese it.
It. The seva 1 is pretty good, but corundum has better physical protection.

Not sure about fully upgraded stats though, Don't know a site for that kind of comparison

You could wait for exo ig, but I'm not sure when you'd get your first exo and diamond is pretty end-game. What stats are you more of concerned of though? Because It's usually ends with that

Also maybe I’m the only one, but with the way that upgrades affect your repair cost in this game, I pretty much don’t even upgrade my weapons or armor for the most part. Armors I obviously need some upgraded for artifacts slots and such, but a weapon is lucky to see more than 2-3 upgrades from me….. as well as me running limited attatchments for the same reason - repair cost. It’s way too high sometimes in this game. I’m not gonna shell out 18k to repair my rifle every time I come back from

Honestly probably one of the best concepts they put forward for the game. Nonetheless 99% of my time on TF2 was spent playing either 100% Crit low-grav cp_orange_x3 or 100% crit 2fort lol

We can allow the player to create their own enemies through choices, we can add some faction or squad to a relationGroup, we can set bPlayerEnemy = true or false accordingly

It's the reason why sometine ipsf shoots you on sight and sometimes ipsf is cool and sometimes ipsf is hanging out with deggys boys

Reasonably if a person is that far past the barrier on the zone is ipsf going to care after everything they've seen down in the center? That's up to interpretation but probably not.

You can use this granular control of hostilities to also adjust mutants accordingly, not to mention you can set temporary targets on spawn... But I mean yiu can do the same thing with basically any NPC. You can make mutants that only attack other mutants, you can make blinddogs that wander up to the player but don't really do anything

HK416 has flip up irons, the M4A1 (and associated derivatives and linked family guns) usually have a built in front iron sight on the gas block, not a flip up which is in the down position with a picatinny front sight instead (nerd rant moments)

Best you can do currently is find some good engine.ini tweaks to improve the games visuals. I do highly recommend trying some or if you know unreal engine well making your own, you can greatly improve the look clarity of the game among other things. Especially if they're trying to critique the game, running a fucking tacked on English "translation" that is poorly written and acted and cast is like trying to critique a movie with your eyes closed

Something that annoys me with S2's lighting is how it cannot comprehend having bright daytime and oppressively dark nighttime without turning on HDR and fucking with the percentages to get something kinda right

Eventually someone will make a reshade that makes night truly pitch black... right..?

I use a reshade with custom eye adaptation and hdr and dynamic tonemapper to make the lights better with custom engine ini settings I tweaked

I'm running on a 5800X3D + RTX 4090 and it's "ok" with DLSS + DLSS Frame Gen at 4K with everything at ultra.

I'm building a new rig next week based on 9800X3D, and I will get the RTX 5090 when it drops. I'm hoping it will be able to play 4K Ultra without Frame Gen lol

I run a 1080 gtx and i7 something and run around 80 fps with FSR on high settings mostly

the fsr is what is saving me though, without it I run 30 fps or so
