I do like 9x19 fmj cause it's so cheap. I do want to upgrade to 5.45 when I can. Seems to be the cheapest rifle caliber and is +10 ap and +17 damage compared to 9x19 at a little over double the price, 43/shot vs 90/shot.

If I manage to find a P90 first, I will try out 5.7 and see how it goes. It is +8 pen and +2 damage at only 21 more money per shot, 43/shot vs 63.8/shot

the Scientists will give the most money for artifacts but it wont be much compared to the base cost. HOWEVER, if you find a quest that asks for a specific artifact, fix up the artifact to as high as you can and you will get MUCH MORE money for it than selling to a trader

So my experience with v95 so far:

1. Combat is way harder, as in large groups of enemies regularly squad up and distant teams seem to investigate even the smallest ammounts of gunfire. Fighting 1-2 stalkers often ends in a gankfest between 5-6.

2. The redone job board is okay, and it's not quite as off-putting as I found it initially.

3. I definitely think the HK23 Pistol is off. The bullet seems to fire above where you're aiming making headshots incredibly hard on an otherwise amazing pistol.

Allied factions have on two separate occasions attacked and stayed aggro for at least a day (playing as merc, having issues with Freedom and Bandits.) Not sure what's causing that but it's very odd.

5. Performance gain has only been about 10fps, but the game generally feels a lot smoother. Obviously system dependent.

Stashes are empty by default. Getting stashes is the main way of progressing in GAMMA. White stashes can contain helpful gear, while yellow stashes are guaranteed to have a toolkit in addition to regular stash contents. Stash locations are determined based on where you are when you receive the coordinate, they always generate in or near the area you are currently located.

How to get stash coordinates:

1. Complete tasks (this is the main source of stash coordinates)
2. Loot dead bodies
3. Read looted PDAs (right click -> View them in inventory). If it's locked, go to a mechanic to unlock it
4. Buy coordinates from Sid or Cold (only available in the south)

How to get yellow stashes:

1. Complete 7 tasks
2. Get a stash coordinate afterwards - this can be from any source, e.g. the 8th task, a PDA, looting a body
3. That stash coordinate has a 50% chance to be a yellow stash. If you didn't get it, keep doing step 2 until you get a yellow stash

I like this update.

Combat is a lot more dynamic. I haven't experienced any gankfest yet since I'm only a couple of hours in on my new save. But I like the fact that stalkers move in teams now.

The redone job board is cool. That low res refresh button at the top looks out of place though.

Performance? That's probably the biggest improvement for me. Overall, the game feels smoother and I'm no longer experiencing the microstuttering that would make me nauseous after a couple of ours of play.

Regarding the ganking I've found unlike v94, it's incredibly dangerous to run as a solo op in populated areas. Large squads of enemies will actively home in on sound from across the map. Sticking around to loot has to be a short term thing. Oh and assaulting the market in garbage makes you feel like a bandit NPC on the defend mission. It's now populated to high hell if you have a kill contract. Had to kill 14 stalkers with just my starter pistol I almost gave up lol

The mod is "broken" in the sense of tasks failing even if they are stolen by your companions, or if a part of a mutant clearing task is stolen but the rest is yours, which is not the intention
Other than waiting for a fix or dealing with these issues, there really is no way to avoid tasks sometimes ending up like this, the Zone is alive, especially with Alife+ stalkers and mutants move around and fight a lot more

NPC's killing your targets as soon as you enter an area has always been a thing. If there's now a mod that cancels the task and doesn't pay you when that happens then obviously now you have a bunch of tasks being cancelled upon entering an area thus wasting your time.
