so basically, the only way to know how much recoil something has, is to spawn it in debug with a few hundred rounds of ammo and spray for a while to get a feel for it

for those playing on linux, there is now a much better way to play the game that I'd argue is somewhat superior to Windows:

If you simply use Heroic Games Launcher to get GAMMA from GOG, and use the MO2 linux port called Fluorine Manager on Github, it will basically work out of the box. Once you have Fluorine Manager, and GAMMA downloaded, just point your game instance to the Anomaly game directory that comes with the GOG download, and the instance folder location (where mods, downloads, profiles etc live) points to the GAMMA folder.

Because of how linux works with virutal file systems (what MO2 uses) via FUSE my load times are better compared to windows on the same PC. I was gonna post this elsewhere but I haven't been on this server in forever and I guess I don't have the proper permissions to do so.

the main issue with MO2 in general is there was never a good linux port. Since you have to typically effectively emualte the vanilla version of MO2 on linux load times were horrible, but thanks to a fella named SulfurNitride a linux version exists now. Its honestly incredible.

How to use Fast travel?

1. Make sure that the "Areas" marker in PDA above the map is disabled;
2. Right click on the desired icon on the map (looks like blue house icon);
3. Select Fast travel to : desired location or Hire a guide to : desired location.
   Note. Moving with a guide ignores overload debuffs, wounds, etc.

In Debug Mode you can teleport to stashes, level transitions and other map spots by enabling in MCM settings -> Fair Fast Travel -> Allow travel to debug markers, and then by right-clicking on them on your PDA.

How to change fast travel cost, time and other settings?

• When in game, press MCM settings -> Fair Fast Travel -> Fair Fast Travel / Backpack Travel / Guide Travel -> Cost in rubles per meter traveled by 0. Same with Time while travelling if desired.
• There are also General settings where values can be tweaked aswell.

can you check that you have these 2 mods enabled properly ? DO NOT DISABLE G.A.M.M.A. Economy (don't disable, turn on Black Market to buy gear) and G.A.M.M.A. Economy no BAS injection, disabling them causes G.A.M.M.A. economy breaking and some useful items can disappear from merchants inventories.
