2K19 and 2K20 had the same park different color scheme different court layout but the 2K19 had foot locker and all that stuff 2K20 all the shops changed which is another reason I think 23 is going to be a great game with Jordan back involved

2K19 builds were better than 2K20 builds but 2K20 badge grind and grind to legend was better than 2k19

2K19 had fixed badges and road to 99 so it limited how many players people made bc you couldn’t really experience the full potential of your build until you maxed out attributes to 99 and grinded for preset badges

Nothing really has changed for current gen with pie charts and stuff like that but next gen is definitely a different game since it released 21 with how much control you have over your builds attributes things like that

You can still dunk with square… makes it a bit tougher if you’re a slasher. I dunno though… I prefer it. Just have to get used to it and make sure you have the proper animations selected. I found myself always accidentally shooting also 😂 but if I’m playing with a slasher I change it up.

It’s not going to take you that long to level up lol. With all the typing you’re doing you are probably there already 😂 if they left it open with out the levelling it would most likely get spammed. So yes, there needs to be some form of standard that says “this member is involved and should be able to provide feedback.” You do realize, not all games take feedback from their communities right? Like, they don’t have to give you the chance to provide it.

Wanted to address the PC discussion and give some insight from a business perspective on why it takes time for sports games to make the transition on PC's vs. console. I can assure you, this isn't 'laziness', in fact, this has been the case nearly every single generation - it normally takes a few years to see this change occur. Here's a big reason why:

As much as hardcore gamers buy new consoles or super high-powered PC's, most players do not own the biggest/brightest tech out there. When looking at what gen to put on PC, you have to look at the player base, and what capabilities their hardware has from a minimum spec perspective.

So let's say to run the new gen you need a much higher spec'ed PC, you may cut off 30-40% of the PC market, who is able to play the game at min-spec on older gen. Usually after new consoles come out, there's a big uptick in players improving PC's more casually, and games that have yearly iterations base decisions like this on the percentage of players on PC who meet the min spec threshold.

I know most in here are hardcore players, as are most of us, so this can be frustrating, but PC is vastly different than console, where everyone is on the same machine. Therefore, you have to base decisions on where the most amount of players can play. That's the business side of it.

We listen to any and all feedback, but just giving us feedback does not mean it'll actually be implemented. Feedback has to be scaled, meaning we need to attach it to all other feedback and make the best decisions for what makes sense for the most amount of players. We use data listening tools, and data surveys to help put this into numbers along with the feedback we get from our community.

But the survey is only one tool. In-game telemetry is another. Content is another source of feedback, as are social channels, discourse here, focus groups/testing and various other community channels. There is no "one source" for feedback. You also have to remember that in most gaming communities, 65-80% of the player base doesn't talk to you at all, so you have to factor for them as well.

so there’s two things with that, the first is that regardless of how many sources of feedback, why is it so hard to put things on a spreadsheet or google doc and share it with the people spending money on the game and playing it? the second is, whatever the number is for you guys between 65-80%, at what point do you weigh more on the people actually providing feedback? if you make changes based on the vocal minority instead, then that would give that larger crowd that isn’t responding to stuff to start doing that. one of the main reasons people don’t respond to stuff is because they believe nothing will be changed if they were to speak up. i 100% understand it’s a business, but as a business it should be more important to put out a quality product than anything else. and it’s hard to say that with 2k considering the meta is continuously the same. that majority isn’t responding to surveys and stuff because they don’t mind abusing the system because they’ll never have to change their play style the way it is currently set up and the way it’s been set up for awhile
