the three ball is dependent on your skill, if you are a good shooter and u know how to time your release, then 80 ball is all you really need. But it comes with the risk of less badges, unable to equip some good jumpshot bases, etc.) but the ball handle needs to be higher at least 89 or smt to unlock good dribbling animations

For those having trouble getting XP:

Don’t beat yourself up over it. Season 1 is the hardest for me as well. Mainly because I’m building multiple builds & spend so much time doing quests & playing NBA games (or the Jordan Challenges) which doesn’t offer an XP reward. What helps me get the max XP in MyCareer as quick as possible is playing REC games with a build that specializes in the following areas:

• Defense (Steals & Blocks)
• Rebounding
• Passing (Assists)

Use your double XP coins! You can earn double XP at events as well. I’m sure all of this has already been stated but I believe repetition is key.

Please don’t misconstrue this message as a get XP quick glitch or for me bragging like I’m great because I’m average at best. Just looking to help out someone who may need it.
