My main who i played is Fin and Stripe. Both have fun attack, counter and combo balanced, Fin have much fast counter range gameplay, and stripe have a good possible of versatile combo. They are fun to playing with.

His side specials arent always relied on as much but they are mostly used sometimes to kill like his skateboard but his skateboard makes him last in that state forever and his chainsaw u shouldnt spam it

a big complaint I have is that projectile behavior in general is inconsistent, it's dependent on all these weird sizes and angles of hit/hurtboxes and there's no safeguards or hardcoded exceptions to make things work as expected. Skateboarding into a thrown Jerry mostly makes you eat crow, but like 5% of the time Jerry actually bounces off the skateboard projectile shield, which I suspect is the intended behavior.

Stripe's dynamite explosion turns Stripe into a sort of pseudo-projectile that can nullify other projectiles and attacks... sometimes? It's a complete toss up and you're just crossing your fingers
