There are some that are simpler, an example is Raven who has his raven, Rick destroys the raven with a charged shot, but Jason causes me problems because it is difficult for me to get him out.

I once had it at 200 and still couldn't get it out.

I think it's to try and keep in check how powerful his projectiles can be his portal and his polymorph if you can try to capitalize on off stage combos when your opponent is in burnout or teleport polymorph onto your opponent as a mix up that helps with confirming stocks

there's not really many ways to guarantee a grounded meeseeks hit, there's a kill confirm I found with uppercut meeseeks and meeseeks perk

there's a tech with running meeseeks where you face away from the direction you wanna send your meeseeks, send your meeseeks to run, dodge portal in the direction and it'll get like a little boost, really good for catching ppl off guard

This game gave me a lot to be angry about and it shutting down isn't going to dissolve any of that, but if there's one positive take-away from all of this, it's that I got to play as Rick and Morty in a platform fighter.
Rick's inclusion in the initial leaked pictures was what got me interested in Multiversus in the first place, so I'm at least glad I got to see the two of them come into fruition... even if I disagree with a lot of the gameplay and general choices in references.

Actually, speaking of, this is something I've always wanted to do but never made the time for:
I'm assuming a majority of Rick and Morty mains are fans of show, so I've always wondered if you guys (if you're still gonna be active in this server lmao) had any issues with the way the two are represented in the game, not balance wise, but just as characters.

Like I think Rick's down special sucks both gameplay wise and just as a representation of his character because it references the goddamn dragon episode that no one likes.

I mean, it's true that he does a lot of transmogrification in the show, the cronenberg episode and the funny pickle episode come to mind, but the way it was executed in-game was a REALLY big miss for me in a sea of otherwise fine moveset choices.

and I think Morty in general is the epitome of trying to cram as much references as possible into a moveset without thinking about cohesion. like, I got used to it and I loved playing as him, but he was always such a weird character to me.

What frustrated me about Morty is that majority of Morty's moveset is just Rick's stuff. Like, why did they give him Rick's space cruiser? He could've turned into a car or used more of the rings or have some of the weapons Morty used in the death crystal episode.

I really only got interested in this game at first cuz Rick was in it and I ended up enjoying this game a lot more than I could've ever imagined. It's just a shame that the developers, although clearly shown to have attempted to put love into this game, were terribly crunched to a point of the game's detriment. This game will now forever be a relic on my computer, online or not.
