Facts for others like me, it was booty hurtboxes especially trailing ones like Harley slide, Batman slide, BG spear, Batman dash attack… the hurtbox is small so you can get hit from them without even facing you

For me it was how every event was giving less reward for the same amount of effort. Or not giving rewards unless you have a friend to play with. Or unless you spend gleamium on an exclusive skin first, only to earn less gleamium back in return.
And how every time I'd recommend the game to a friend, they'd be instantly turned off by the grindy nature of the game, unbalanced meta, the constant desyncs and crashing, general quality of Xbox, or the price of skins. Each one is a different reason I've struggled to get friends to play.
My partner actually said that despite all that, he'd come back and play a bit if Mordecai was released, but after I explained Fighter Road, he's decided he's staying away at all costs. And I can't blame him.

The inability to choose who you want to unlock is a big L in my opinion fighter road is a fine system but you should be able to choose who's being unlocked
I still preferred perk currency despite the easy flow of fighter road
My buddy managed to unlock 4 characters in about an hour because of a booster variant but if you aren't willing to play the couple of hours it usually takes to unlock one then you're shut out of earning characters not to mention that as a new or returning player you likely won't have the characters that DO have a boosted variant

I fought the gm 20 morty and he wasn't able to take a single stock from us because morty can't kill without obvious set ups
Just paying attention to stun gun cool down and watching for it makes him easy
Morty isn't trash but isn't great he's mid tier if you can't pay attention to his cds very well and play around his confirms you'll have trouble

If you're talking 1v1 I'll have to take your word for it I got him to masters in 2v2 after his huge nerf last season where his grenade was gutted and I've fought some grand Master morty that make him seem strong but something I can 100% agree with is his inability to kill anything consistently
