The best way and easiest way to kill with Marvin, is to abuse Flag. Mark them and you can either use Jab3 to kill, or use the rocket to have it track them down.
And on top of that, Marvin can actually box really well with his Sair and helmet
You can literally carry people off the side of the screen if you link them up properly
In 1's, boxing with him when you're close, and then mixing in the projectiles works extremely well for me.
In 2's, flag and rocket are extremely important, and being able to watch when your teammate is juggling so you can capitalize on a kill with upair

Rely on flag to help with killing. You can use rocket, and jab3 if they have been marked by the flag, and more times then not they will die
His forward aerial kick is also really good for killing and comboing if you are closer to the edge

For anyone else that wants to see, this is how flag works. Watch how the marker above shaggy goes away once he leaves the circle, versus when he stays in the cicle. While the Marker is on them, you can shoot a projectile and it will track them, You can kill with rockect tracking them, or Jab3. If there is something that keeps it on them as a permanent marker, please let me know
