The Jake buffs are big for him too. He already had one of the worst Dash attacks, and sometimes Air Neutral 2 just wouldn't connect. Now with the air momentum changes, and making the Jab 2 a different button, I think he will feel better now

I made an ugly facsimile of it by inputing and hold side special away from the opponent, then rapidly mashing jump then (while still holding away), pressing towards the opponent. The character doesn't turn around, but moves at the opponent backwards. But it's not right because the original movement was so smooth and disorienting.

only a real smart branch will try to maneuver it to not fall into your bite, but there's still almost nothing they can do, they can dodge back but that will punish alot their attempt to go back to the stage, which will ease your game to sair them into oblivion, jake is a great gate keeper
