He’s definitely not a high tier, but he’s for sure a solid mid tier and not bottom 3 anymore

Clips or it’s not real. The only zero to death I’ve seen with Jason is jab 1,2 -> utilt -> uair -> dodge read with up special and that only kills on low ceiling stages or against light characters. But it’s not guaranteed. Jab 1,2 -> dtilt -> nair or dair isn’t true in the slightest because they’re too slow. On Iron Giant specifically, he can loop jab 1,2 -> dtilt like twice before the Iron Giant can escape. And to clarify, yes jab 1 -> bag is true, but it’s often not really worth going for because you can get more damage from other combos. And besides, you’re playing Iron Giant. You also have a death combo and the ability to burst out of other people’s combos yourself

If your character has projectiles, use them

Iron Giant can use up special to beat out some projectiles but that only gets him so far

Iron Giant was shadow nerfed so that wall clinging doesn't recharge his fuel, meaning it's much harder for Iron Giant to recover

Keep hitting him and eventually he'll be out of fuel. When he has no fuel he can dodge twice and side special to get a little horizontal movement. That's it.

Unfortunately I think Iron Giant is a bit flawed because of Multiversus as a game

If placed into the smash series where dodge cancels aren't a thing, one laggy airdodge, a much stronger cast of jugglers and more potent edge guards, he would be unplayable

Character difficulty is rarely ever a factor in the balance of a game, if anything developers will tune characters away from overcentralising tools but they won't make it just "the harder the character, the better they are"

Working harder is ultimately irrelevant considering the vitality of the game where some moves just kill at 70 off of pretty bread and butter combos, which sucks about this game but just gotta accept it

has more killpower than arya stark and any other character
and gigantic hitboxes that r almost unpunishable
has a move that destroys any projectile
always at an advantage

He’s gotten nerfed every single patch and still, the top 10 people on the leaderboard the #1 player is a iron giant player and there’s about 3-4 iron giant players on the top leaderboard. Giant protects him and he can just dtilt from behind him

And hes great and getting giant out of disadvantage

Well id say you'd be wrong lol. LeBron already had insane combos on Iron Giant and now his combos against him are even better and now Iron Giant can use bolts less and he's lighter. And that's not even mentioning how annoying LeBron's projectiles are for Giant. All that being said, Iron Giant is still Iron Giant and he's gonna do his Iron Giant shenanigans, but I firmly believe that LeBron wins the matchup. Get in the lab, practice your combos bruh.
