Consider using up air and sair but mostly up air its faster and can trade consistently in situation

Also consider using sair up air instead sair air up special in combos

You may give him too much room to recover the further you knock him back

Use your projectiles to stuff his pointless way to initiate

Butt slam shoulder tackle = up special, rocket fist and even neutral punch counter these

As for the helicopter move down tilt is the best way to counter it unless he has protective momentum, other options are to neutral air or dair to hit him from above his head, , dodge to the other side of him and hit him

I've been playing in a way that slowly pushes them to the edge of the stage, and maintaining a distance that is slightly longer than uncharged dtilt. You can then pick them apart while they try to get back stage control.

I can catch them with raw dtilt, if they try to read dtilt you have that slight extra space to charge it a bit and catch them anyway, and if they try to approach from the air you either contest them, or you've given yourself the extra space to back off if you need to without giving up too much stage.

The threat of thunderclap has made pushing finn into the corner like this much easier.

Charging rythm stacks helps with her armor, her armor break aerial lasts long enough to dodge through and punish.

I dont think she has true combos out of her up tilt at mid percents, so like roughly 40-70 percent, maybe? Should be able to parry/dodge down and punish.

If they start spamming that punch special, they usually wait a second and then throw it out because they want a dodge read. Either attempt to parry, or dodge in there with a fair 1 air up special.

Be Warned, that last one is Chad behavior and I haven't been brave enough to try it myself 😂

I'm pretty sure. But only at mid percents. Low percents I think jab jab uptilt falling nair reset is true early, and WW does have kill confirms out of uptilt later. It's somewhere in the middle were i don't think it's true.

And characters that just mindlessly run at you is hard to adjust to, but it is a bad thing for them to do. It means there are rarely thinking about defense. It catches me off guard too, but if all they do is hold forward at you, then they are predictable.

To answer those question of stages yes there are stage bans and banned stages

Garnets bad matchups I think everyone should know by now but in tournament people play to win so they will do whatever it takes and spam as much as possible if it works

Ww handles heavy projectiles better then garnet in my opinion but garnet has the edge a little bit with her 3rd stack sing buff

And I would recommend entering a very small tournament for a first time like 50 or less people is a good start

Getting 30 RP for farming Plat players feels scummy.

And some of the players in GM are a joke. It's not about skill anymore, just how often you play. I would say that most of the players up there deserve it, but the some of the ones I've fought since the RP change played like gold players.

I get that, and a lot of the GMs that were there before the change are still there. I don't want to sound like an elitist, but before the RP change, GM players where much harder to beat.

Like, all of the top 100 were hard. Now only like half of them are.
