The toxic trash that criticize others for putting their feedback without the dev team stepping in are the reason this game is failing. Can't believe WB gave licensing to such an incompetent team that only wanted to line their pockets. Y'all had a good start in the beginning, but listening to spoiled crybaby streamers who gatekeep and trash talk specific characters is the reason their channels grew slightly, but the playerbase receded. People can trash talk all they want about certain characters, but they're not the ones whom have dealt with a character whom was nerfed nearly every patch. absolutely this, everyone's on edge because of this and the radio silence we've been getting makes it all the more concerning, the low steam numbers are one thing but the lack of transparency between dev and player is how it was with overwatch 1 in 2021 and that is never a level you want to stoop to

there is communication but it's a very limited level of it, part of that is probably due to warner bros but even then it's still not good to have. take for example the superman buffs, not only was it something barely anyone was asking for but it also was on a part of his kit that was already really good, sniper punch already was a solid one for supes but now it's pretty much a must use for him and the fact that we haven't even gotten any form of acknowledgement of it says a lot

even if they focused entirely on balance they've already burned that goodwill that they had at the start because without content there is 0 reason to keep playing a game, even if there were patches added only the diehard fans would still play and the only money they'd be getting is from the whalers who buy every skin in the game or the diehards who had a skin made for their main. you can't just completely ignore one part of a game without losing something, it's a balancing act for them and one side is being leaned on far more than the other. relying on skins will just be delaying the inevitable, overwatch 1 is proof of that.

overwatch 1 had constant balance changes in it's last 2 year and was still losing players and money, part of that was due to most of their efforts working on overwatch 2's campaign but there was a very clear imbalance for the game at multiple points, you had double shield, you had tanks being near unkillable with good supports and so much of the game riding on how good the supports are. the thing that made it worse was the fact that there wasn't any new characters or maps being added, no new events for players to try for years. the only updates players were ever getting were skin events with returning modes and balance changes and while fun for a while wasn't enough to keep even dedicated overwatch streamers playing it. the same thing is happening to multiversus right now only we've already hit the patch notes phase where it's just radio silence and empty promises. the worst part about it is that they clearly have things ready but between crappy circumstances and poor decision making it's causing more problems than actually helping

BMO costs 1000 coins and restricts you from using gems, the move has a long startup and can easily be interrupted or dodged with armor break or just getting out of the way. The way I would make this more beneficial for Finns would be to either make BMO cost 800 coins. Or Slowly have BMO recharge after using the move. BMO would still walk around the map to be able to body block projectiles. I would think a 40-60 second static cooldown

I think shutting down is a good idea too tbh. When they relaunch (and yes, I do mean RE-launch), the matchmaking really needs to be fixed. since the game is going to go on a hiatus maybe we can get an actual defensive option for the game, at best a character has multiple armor moves and even that won't work because of the rock paper scissors mechanic of armor being weak to moves with purple, moves with purple should be a silver bullet for character matchups and not a rich get richer mechanic because having armor be the only defensive option forces the game into a very simple and unfun environment because all most matches would boil down to is 2 questions, does the character have a good attack with armor and does a character have a good attack with the purple effect? My suggestion would be adding a parry mechanic similarly to rival's of aether's since it would allow for much more spammable moves to actually get punished but it would also make it to where charging attacks actually has a purpose since it can be used to bait out a parry and punish. A lot of characters in this game feel like you're playing with a loaded gun and you never know when you're going to get screwed over by the dumbest of circumstances because of one move, adding a parry mechanic reduces that significantly because you'd have an option to react to a character's move and punish them for reading it, compare that with right now where if you dodge a move you can still get hit by it because of how long some of the hitboxes last and it becomes night and day with some of these scenarios.

I dont play with PC users tho because a portion of PC users will always lag. Thats due to so many old slow pc’s out in the wild that people try to game on. For ps5 at least, ive had zero lag versus other console users including xbox users

Walmart, gamestop, fred meyer, sony, microsoft, and Nintendo dont offer cash refunds for opened and played video-games whether purchased physically or digitally. The entire gaming industry works this way. Kickstarter doesn’t offer refunds either for products that come out. You can think of this as a cross of a kickstarter and a full purchase of you bought a founder pack. Theres just no chance in hell itl happen. Its not even reasonable for the consumer to want it when its never happened anywhere else before

It has. When Rumbleverse went down they had refunds for players because the did even last a year and yes it was free-to-play. Yes it there thought for buying products in a free-play game but it unreasonable to ask refunds for a free to play that did not last for a year.

That’s not a good example. Rumbleverse never had a full release. Paragon gave refunds too because it never came out of beta either. Multiversus is coming out of beta with a full release. You have to at least understand how things work. When a beta is successful and the game releases theres no refunds. Only in very rare cases when a game doesn’t release after beta do they sometimes offer refunds.

And believe me - If MvS for some reason decides later on to cancel the game without a full release I will be the first in line for refunds. I think we can see for ourselves though that they are having success and a planned full release is a healthy sign. As it stands they have a good trajectory and are doing things the right way. Closing the beta leading up to a full release is the most legit thing to do. Im excited for next year

It's really only useful in a few situations where you can use it to block projectiles, but it has little to no functionality outside of that

I can agree that Wonder Woman has the weakest knockbacks of any character in the game. 2nd to her is stripe with chainsaw and gun combo. Its very hard to secure a kill on wonder woman sometimes even when the opponent is at 150 dmg

WW’s strongest ko move is down air and thats knocking them off the ground and back up. Every sword user has that but thats about it and the whip tip perk can fling but its not easy to gauge that distance

Compared to litterally every other character in game that has at least 2 strong finishers when some have 4-5 WW’s only upside is a ton of armor, blocking all projectiles with forward shield, and shes a heavy tank

Batman has it worse tho with the least amount of total moves of any character

Batman’s neutral attack is gimped it does the same thing in air and ground and doesn’t have a replacement move like many other characters have with moves on cooldown

Also batman has no armor and no armor breaking move

Batman’s down ground attack is inferior to harly because it doesn’t cover as much ground. The only good graple is taking the perk which gives batman another cooldown bringing his cooldowns to 4 with the least amount of total moves compared to every character. Many characters can fly so that isn’t special for batman either

Take for example morty, rick, and martian neutral attacks they all have alternate moves when ammo is on cooldown. Batman neutral doesn’t even qualify for ammo its a straight up cooldown

And yes you can sometimes pick it up but it gets destroyed touching any projectile and most characters in game have at least one projectile

And some outright block or convert projectiles making batarang super weak

For the record my lowest lvl character is 16 and i have memorized what every move in the game is and what it looks like. That doesn’t make me good. My highest is only 22. I definitely know the moves inside and out however I cannot perform true combos. Thats a skill cap i have personally. I can run and gun and land attacks but no matter how much practice i do i cannot learn true combos with anyone… thats why i say im not good. People who are good make me look like a noob. Companies that lie and dont release a game never end the beta and never stop taking your money. I think damage perks should be buffed to compete with the meta slots. Bumping every 5% dmg perk to 7% and gaining 15% when stacked with partner. This would make damage perks viable even when self stacked. And this would make 3x jumps, tazmanian trigonometry, and toon elasticity a little less attractive every game

And a really hot take would be to remove all dmg reduction perks which defeats the purpose of dmg perks entirely especially when at the high levels of play kills are made with low damage numbers anyways

If you actually did have character tickets left then it’s because you supported with the founder packs and you have a lot of tickets. For example i have every character unlocked and over 20 tickets left

Even if a character happens to cost 2k gold vs a character that costs 10k - the point of the character ticket is to save gold. Thats it. So it should be used regardless

A good game will prevent the player from screwing themselves. For example theres no way to permanently delete a character after you bought it. Some choices are simply irrelevant or cause no good. Games have to be intelligently designed

If you want maximum choices in games then buy Bladurs Gate 3. A crpg where you can make nearly any choice

Season 2 was in a pretty awful state because it took SO long to get anywhere substantial in it that you'd just be drained out in content completely by the halfway point. Having a two and a half month battle pass with skins showing up again later would be the optimal choice

Just work on that, probably the netcode, add a few more modes over time, and put out a roadmap please, this game would be in a fantastic state. Try replicating the magic of Season 1

1. This game has its own style, copying Mortal Combat character selection is not the vibe of the game. However them having a cool animation when confirmed (e.g. Superman flying in) would be cool.
2. The win screen should be better, it just a blue background. Plus they could make more money as they can make skins for it/have characters preform some cool animations.
3. Crossovers will never be a thing as it makes 0 sense.
4. As for the music the only thing in this game that can not be complained about imo. Every stage has an amazing score.
5. Releasing character renders before hand is much more difficult then you think, mainly because of the red tape they need to go through to have the character in the game.
   5.5. Anouncing the release dates is just a disaster waiting to happen. Almost any date they have announced was never hit, wasnt even like 1 day late it was weeks.
6. Adding skins to the end of character lvling would cost a lot of money. You get a PfP though it could be nice to get SOMETHING to make it worth more however something that doesnt cotst PFG money
7. As for the website... It should be a tool not a fun place to hang out. Patch notes summery, bug reporting, things they are working on (CoughHitboxesCough)etc. a info hub and not a promo poster.
8. Skins cost money to make, making them available for gold is not viable. Gold is useful and is used constantly. However after a while its use is irrelevant. Thats because you have unlocked everything, congrats.

If a character is gonna take a little while sure delay it but still instead hiding the many characters you have done how about taking a certain of them and their renders and show them off instead going one at a time

If they wanted to add skins that just cost gold, they could do basic recolors. Recolors are common in FGs to let multiple people play the same fighter. It's also less work compared to skins with a unique model, sounds, effects etc. If you're willing to spend actual money on a skin I think more people are gonna go for something really cool like black lantern Superman over like a green recolor. But if the green recolor is just a handful of coins then I think people would get them

Ideally recolors would just be free but I think the megacorp that funds this game would want to charge for as much as they can

i want to cosign recolors for gold! I have a problem of losing track of the character i play when my team mate or opponent is using the same character in teams. The shape alone makes this happen but having a different skin works wonders to keep track of my character. Atm theres a few characters that dont have a decent alt skin. Steven universe is one. I dont want to look like a furry >.<. I think many characters like superman and batman and most of the heroes/villains wouldn’t make sense to do a pallet swap. But instead of a pallet swap my suggestion is to give us “Alter Ego” skins. So superman would get Clark Kent skin for gold. Batman gets Bruce Wayne skin for gold etc. long story short, if a pallet swap seems cheesy and unrealistic for that character then give us the alter ego instead for a gold purchase. Every character should have 1 gold skin purchase

Most of my asks are aggressive and idealistic. This is the time for it. Once the game officially releases its more or less done with the addition of new characters, skins and balancing. But now is the perfect time to ask for big things with plenty of time before release
