I am very disgusted by this, that is simply not how grass works. I am no longer a proud multiversus supporter & am considering wether or not I should play the game again. Knowing trailers like these were rushed & not cared for at this scale on something as major as a trailer shows that the Devs have no idea what they are doing in the game meaning that this could very well be in other places.
I’m not sure what stone this is or even if it’s real but if it turns out that the mythical stone doesn’t naturally let grass grow through it & that they have to retcon in; this would show that they haven’t got a full story planned out & that not only was the trailer quickly put together but that also the story hasn’t been yet planned & that we aren’t going to get the best planned ending possible. I fear for the future of this game, player stats have already troughed (probably due to this) & I fear wether there will still be a community playing this game 5-50 years to come. On the bright side if there are say less than 100 players, I could get to no.1 easier due to my immense PVP skills & get the no.1 reward. (Btw a battle Royale mode would be cool where you shrink down to 1% of your fighters size & use the massive stage to fight 100 other players), this could potentially save the game from complete destruction, if the game does reach that low & this is the only option left, I hereby trademark it as my idea so that I have to be payed or at least credited for the idea; if I ever move up to CEO I will make sure to look through all the trailers for inaccuracies grass texturing to show that proper love & care was put into the trailers & games & that no retcons need to occur even if it means taking down previous trailers & either reanimating or re-editing them on to YT. The only downside would be, that subscribed viewers may get repinged frustrated & unsubscribe but at the same time the opposite effect could occur where fascination at old work is noticed, but the future is uncertain🤔
