It’s because they are in Plat and up in rank where less players grinded to, so them waiting 1-2 minutes for a match makes them think nobody is online.

Infact most of the games playerbase actually doesnt even grind rank, they are hanging around in Bronze to Gold, they play a few rank matches and mainly play casual most the time.

It’s not that Rank is that awful, it’s just alot of the mvs community actually plays just for fun and wont grind rank because they dont care as much.

I main morty and i have over 1.9k wins with him and im going to say that, if you're good with him you're not going to struggle to kill that much, you have to realize that most people don't want to get close to morty because of how strong some of his moves are, so most of the time you have to plan a setup with the grenades or other specials. He's not easy to use at all and you're going to lose a lot at the start but he is definitely really worth it. Imo he is top 7 characters in the game rn
