Steven cant get away without being caught
If he doesnt get caught somehow the big af hitboxes with catch him even if he dodges
If you somehow get away you can attack [it'll miss because Stevens attacks requie timing, precision, and luck for the hitbox to actually connect, sometimes getting him hurt in the process] but Jason will just dodge it or move slightly away and avoid it.
If you somehow get past all that and hit him, he'll be back to hit you into a combo that kills you at 50 even though he's supposed to be a tank
If he has no range uhh yeah he does actually, sorry, you can get close to your opponent with an attack ready by side stepping and also he still has giant broken hitboxes

Also this all happens in the span of about 5 seconds, absolute max. Then you have to do it all over again right after

sorry uhh I don't think I phrased it well, the hurt boxes are loc'd on the skeleton of each character, since you punched with batman in the center of where their general position is, you would think it would hit them but since its three characters and there is a tiny space between all three of them (which is where you punched) it technically didn't hit them (you totally should have though) since there is no hurt box located there
