I've done nothing but play arena mode and the occasional rift mission for exp. Wasn't hard. Arena mode nets you a sheton of battle pass exp

Oh and I come in first for Arena mode a lot unless my teammate is trash. I pretty much got the perk system down pat

I only played Arena once but I recommend getting what improves damage and defense.

there's also some that depend on what class your teammate is and cooldown reduction

Depends on who I use and how my teammate is playing. For Jake you want as much vertigo as you can have. Outside of that go for either dmg sponge or brickwall for defense but not both.

Vertigo should be the only attack perk you have don't stack others.

The trick is to have one or two good perks and then save your cash for rare stuff into later rounds like round 7 and higher. I often snag shopper perk or empty pockets to help net more cash. Investor is okish in that regard but you should always sell it and go for the previously mentioned two if you can.

Also if you see the Rare perk call Juggernaut or something like that (It blocks projectiles) you should snatch it up if the Arena is filled w spammy characters. Get it to level 2 but no higher. Lastly gold perk that's let's you be giant is a must have for jake.

Why Velma is better than Taz. Shes Rewarded by running away with Fred‘s van That happens very often vs Taz who has to be winning to put the chicken debuff on the opponent that doesnt kill the opponent like fred‘s van can.
