I'll be honest, I do agree that Ranked isn't as fun as just casual, amd the only true way of getting to the top is spam. I actually love this post lol But for me I was super excited for ranked, top 250 on the board top 10 for my char, but all that has filtered to the top is spamming and running and it's getting boring and frustrating to climb. Shaggy spam kick is slow, watch your enemy the whole game not your char, and dodge through the kick, he'll be recovering and you can do 70 damage with him in hutstun since every other character has cracked range, multiple hitting moves, long combos with easy resets kind of thing.

Also, believe me, Harley is practically the Shiek of Multiversus. Half of her moves don't kill until 150, so dealing with spammers is REEAAALLLYY frustrating at times. The Warm-Up event wasn't long and tedious for me because the constant leveling up of characters (This was during the Power Pledge event) and usage of Sports Attire skins made it pretty quick to get the medal reward. If the missions for the Circuit Drone event don't refresh, then without a free Circuit Drone skin beforehand, it's gonna be a long and tedious grind. I just hope they give us new missions for the event tomorrow unlike last time.

I can't find one for Arya, Black Adam, Harley Quinn, Iron Giant, Jake, Jason, Samurai Jack, nor Superman. hrmm the versions of that mission i've seen aren't pvp, so it should work there. Are you actually playing a tank character (one version requires you play a tank)? Also, be sure you aren't accidentally knocking them above your damage amount in the process of ringing them out (was likely why earnest suggested getting your own damage up above 100 first)

it sounds like the second issue then, where you are accidentally sending their damage level above your own in the process of knocking them out. I'd recommend using someone that can get early knockouts like jason, or using someone with touch of death combos like finn. but since the later takes a bit of practice to learn, the jason route would probably be easier for you. just make sure your own damage is high before kncoking them out, so you have a nice buffer

In rifts or PvP because that’s my issue when I go to rifts no one is telling me if I should go to crushing or experienced.

in rifts go with the easiest one. so easy or experienced. this way you can spend the whole battle setting up for the mission complete without having to worry about the opponent ringing you out instead

So just stand there, that’s gonna take long for the opponent to damage me

if you purposefully equip your lower level gems it can make that bit quicker, but i still think the extra time here is worth it since you need your own damage to be high for this mission. better to spend an extra minute getting above a hundred than get knocked out by a lucky hit before you can get your ringouts off.

alternatively, if you have some really high lvl gems (like lvl 8 or 9), then use them in an easy rift so you can ringout the enemy in low 20s. it'll make them damaging you near impossible tho, so leave one of the defense ones unequipped or something.

I just did it again, took the match to 3:30 or so said it gave me 700 but I think there's some kind of visual bug.
because the numbers not matching up to the "reward" amount of the first reward. If the first reward is 3,350.
Then there is a glitch somewhere. Because it seems like the first reward is 33,500 not 3,350.
I took screenshots my bar is filling and haven't completed any quests just like 3 nodes over 3 minutes and it looks to be 1/4 of the way.

so we get 1 event that uses a new currency, possible to obtain a total of 2. then we get a new event that uses a different currency (which you seem to only be able to get 1 of). then the preview for the event following that one teases yet another new currency. the devs need to pick a currency and try to stick with it for more than a week, smh

good thing is, all shops are available until season ends, so when you have currency like medal and curcuit, use them wisely and no need to rush

It's only giving like a third to half of that number stated.

Getting a drone skin with gleamium feels like an opportunity for players with excess gleamium to spend some without worrying about the pass next season.

Honestly, I just don't want to have not enough Gleamium for the battle pass like last time. Even a 10 Gleamium difference is huge, since you're really close to getting a new fighter and a plentiful of new rewards, and yet something that small is forcing you to not get those rewards.

saving gleamium is hard. they don't give that much as it is.
I think it was only a reward for like 2 or 3? Events. I remember Smith had some Gleamium with it.
I feel there was another. The power-ups events but those I didn't race for the Gleamium.
Because with the BP they only give you enough for the next BP.
Even says so on the load-in card for the BP if completed you get 1000 Gleamium back and 3500 Fighter Currency too.
And you have what you from maxing out characters.

mages have a lot of cooldowns.
bruisers are the general set-up characters.
and I haven't played many assassins as none of them interest me.

like Jason and Smith. They both have basically the same moveset.
Just one small little differences between them because of classes.
I think Jason is a tank and Smith a Bruiser.

Ok, sure its a good combo set up, but you can counter it, and plenty of other characters have ways to ladder opponents that superman doesn't. He's really not that hard to counter if you know what to do. When he whiffs a smash attack you can punish him hard, and almost all of his good attacks that he can charge, and sniper punch, drain his dodge meter. Superman is high mid tier, hardly broken.
