The idea of Steven of being better than bugs bunny doesn't match the reality of how bugs bunny still slams Steven, even if Steven uses his brain.
Bugs bunny with his projectiles is only half of what makes him annoying, it's his irritating combos from melees alone, but the vault, from my instances, can reinforce the combos and take you from 0 to 80 or higher very very easily
The side kicks, the spinning Beyblade arms, his baseball bat and his downward mallet are irritating melees

Why nerf Reindog? Do you have a valid reason? If so, is one of his moves too strong? If not, though, why nerf him? Are you bad at the matchup? If so, you need to learn how to fight and play well against that character (in this case, Reindog), and make notes of if he should be nerfed or not. That's not me criticizing or making fun of you, it's something everyone (including myself) needs to do. Get better not just at specific matchups, but at the game itself. There's always room for improvement. If you do that, you'll understand better why said character should be nerfed, instead of just complaining, and other people will support you and agree why said character should be nerfed.

maybe i am just bad at the game, and i know im not the best, but there is something that really bugs me lately. i just feel like everybody i fight against just zones me out. i keep facing gizmoes and morty etc. and they just keep shooting me down from a distance. i cannot do anything cause they are just faster and once im able to approach they just jump to the other side of the map. and keep hitting me. it just feels pointless to fight honestly and all the projectiles make it really not fun for me.

Not sure which platform you play on, but there is a category called "matchmade game", which reflects to matches won with invited people, not random. At least this is how it worked on PS5.

I don't know what counts for it in this release, as I got my platinum trophy during the beta. But I suppose PvE rift with a friend should be eligible.

Probably because you dont know how to face them yet
He is one of those characters that are more complicated especially if you are not familiar of what he can and cannot do, so you dont know his limits and such
This can be improved by trying him out yourself and just playing more. If you have the chance even rematch marvins even if you know he will kick your butt. Thats the fastest way to learn

as a Marvin main I tend to anti-air people trying to jump a lot with projectiles and if they're approaching me on the ground in a obvious way I use his gun zapper thing.

Most BG’s are in autopilot mode with pokes because a lot of Fighters just aren’t playing the matchup. He’s in a much weaker position vertically
