I think 2 werks for q new character is to fast. Rather it be a few weeks so this way more polish . Once the roaster starts to fill thats a ton of balance to keep up with. Dont want it to be like LoL were champs dont get played.

It's going to 100% be exactly like that. Characters will always get played though because some people just love certain characters. But they just won't be meta or picked for ranked very often. You'll have 5 MAYBE good characters that are hard meta and the rest will hover around somewhere. 2 weeks for character releases is going to doom the game tbh. Balancing that isn't possible. It's just not. Not unless they start having a metric ton of clone movesets so that the only "unique" thing about the character will be aesthetic. Which again, is pretty dumb. I don't understand the hype over tons of character releases. It guarantees the game will never see any decent balance. 1 per month in my opinion is STILL too fast. That's 12 per year. If the game lives 5 years we now sit at 60 not including original roster. That's never going to be balanced in any way and some characters will never get picked.

Someone tell me Thursday has more than just Gizmo coming....Cause if that's all we're getting I'm just done. I've got 500 hours already and I'm just done. No content at all. Because people been crying about how they keep delaying stuff (then they'd cry when it doesn't work) you can't please children who skip school to game. Just look how many people complain NOW about the game and now imagine if the devs just kept releasing stuff without fixing it because the community cried. We'd be in a even bigger mess of a game. They need time to fix the core game itself which is why a lot of characters get pushed back. They obviously need tweaking as well but I think they want this next update to be substantial in terms of fixes.

like characters should just be designed as characters, not to fill a role. which they clearly are thinking most of the time with how loose the criteria are. so why have it to begin with? the role a character fills is highly influenced by teamcomp and situational play. does this mean supports are automatically worse in 1s?

how do u guys deal with running guys around the map waiting for you attack first? i feel its pretty hard to punish guys who repeat the same ranged move, and when u gap close looks like your attack goes little foward cant reach him... here you can use spell and quickly dodge afterwards, or wait the opponent on the otherside to hit him back after he does
