This is why I love superman, no matter how much the enemy spams I have area denial attacks such as laser eyes or whatever to get them from far away (plus break the ice and 'ice to beat you') and if they are spamming right in my face I can just tank the hit using super armor. Superman is just antispam the character lol

I don't even know where to start with this game. Most attacks just feel so clunky. Because of the lack of a hit priority system I decided to main superman as he has super armor when doing ground attacks, but even then it doesn't matter when Finn can just do an up special for the 14 trillionth time in a game and break the armor instantly. Along with these issues people are already hard focusing the 'meta' to the point where its just not fun at all anymore. I'm probably not going to come back to this game until they get their act together.

The game doesn't need hit priority though, the hitboxes are just goofed but they're already reworking the entire hit system. The next big update was delayed so there's probably not gonna be a patch until next week so just be patient i guess lol

How do we test for true combos? I notice even in training if you set the bot to dodge during hitstun sometimes that combo will miss in a game and the other way around happens too (I notice a bot will be able to dodge out of a combo in training but when I get hit by the same combo in-game, I can't)

It’s really not simple since DI is a thing and certain combos may only work on certain characters

Right I get DI / weight / hurtbox sizes but there's still BnB / staples that work on a good portion of the cast and %. Like the T&J dair loop, Bugs combos, Finn Side A x2 > Down A, etc.

I want to find the best settings to test out how reliable a combo is. I notice a lot of players posting combos on Twitter and YT just have the bot set to Recovery so idk how fake or how reliable the combos are

More specifically I'm talking about Lebron combos and the dair > no-look pass loops they look super fake and I just wanna be able to lab them more
