Same. It was the sounds and the fear of the unknown. Reapers were scary because you knew they hiding just beyond visibility and could jump out suddenly.
Ghosts and sea dragons weren't because you could see them the entire time from a distance. Plus, they aren't [as] aggressive [as reapers].

Its mostly due to the fact that you usually can't see Reapers from a distance because its too murky. But you can watch Dragons and Ghosts from afar and nothing happens.

A messed up map means the BatchUpgrade script wasn't executed. This was the case in the experimental build, because the script is checking if the save is inferior to a specific version. This was easily fixed by removing the CellsCache folder in player's saves.

Hm so I've got a thing going on with my filtration machines, I would assume normally that they work independently of one another, but for some reason regardless of when I make them, they sync up on their water & salt production rates, and all the items end up in only one of the machines, even if the second machine is empty as soon as the one that outputs all the items get full, they both idle.

well if you pay attention to robin talking to Al-An and read the logs as you ge them for Sam it does tell you what to do

yeah, a modern game like that ought to hand hold a little - finding objectives can be a pain

but the game is based on exploration so i can see why they rarely give hints

It's quite difficult to please everyone, I know plenty of people on the forums who find BZ is hand holding too much.

A good saving point is in front of the entrance of the base, not inside. If you save near the invisible wall for instance, you'll have to go back at the entrance.
