• Anything even slightly not flat it straight up can't handle
• It can't jump
• It can neither hover over nor sink under water; thus going into water cripples it
• It is incapable of turning while in water
• It has a special function in which it gets thrust up in the air by steam vents, but it gets so little boost you can't actually do anything with it

And I am told that the PRIMARY function of the vehicle, which is to escape the ice worm, was brutally murdered in gratuitous fashion.

This is like Star Wars: The Old Republic in terms of how seemingly every change made after early access was just to make the game worse.

• It should jump by default. There should be a mod to make it jump higher.
• It should ride higher above the ground than it does, and skim water without issue.
• Its base speed should be higher than it is. It should be faster than the prawn suit (which is not very fast) and a lot faster than the player character sprinting. It doesn't need to be fast, it just needs to not be slow.
  These are bare minimum competency for a land vehicle. If it had all of these functions, it would be trash, useless, unnecessary, used only for people who prefer it aesthetically over other options.

What I don't understand is how it's still this broken. There are so many things done so well about it, and the glaring problems are often so easily fixed that they should have been fixed during early access. There is nothing in the game which is both catastrophically bad AND hard to fix. The game reeks of abandonment.

If Subnautica Devs want us to be pacifistic, why don't they support pacifistic behavior? I am innately a pacifist, I try to avoid violence in general. The game keeps making me kill in self defense, because so many angry fish have absolutely zero sense of self preservation. I give them so many opportunities to leave me alone, I try so many ways of scaring them off or otherwise communicating to them not to mess with me. In the end, the only thing that reduces violence is me getting vehicles which allow me to dodge and weave around them so as to enable me getting my important needs met without necessarily coming to blows with angry fish.

The Game never forces you to kill in self defense, that is 100% your decision, and 100% your fault /gen /nm the game gives you many options to avoid combat, if you choose to not take those other paths and engage recklessly or violently, that's a decision you made yourself

I kept overlooking the parallel processing units. They're small and don't necessarily look scannable. Keep your eyes peeled and look for small cylinders about the size and shape of a vehicle modification.

The argument between if the vehicles in 1 or BZ are better feels a bit silly to me and more personal preference-based because personally I can't stand the Cyclops. I find it so clunky, it controls terribly, it gets stuck on/hits everything, so I liked the Sea Truck a lot more because it was just more maneuverable depending on the modules on it. I didn't even noticed any nerfed movement speed because the smaller, more condensed locations make you take a slower pace anyway. There's so much stuff to do in such a small surface area that you want to take your time checking it all out anyway. There's not really anywhere near as many massive empty spaces with nothing worthwhile in them like the original game has

Are you playing on PC or console? I had not a single death from the worm after building a base right before the extension bridge, then taking the prawn through the region. Had fine luck with the Snowfox as well, but noticed it drew attention faster than the Prawn. I didn’t get the grapple arm until right before finishing the game. Stick to hard rocks and stop moving when you hear or feel it coming through audio or haptic feedback. Take food and water, push straight ahead until you reach alien nodes that look sus.

You cannot scan or do damage to the worms, so keep moving forwards. When in doubt, hear the shout, move ahead!

Spoiler, explore the area before clicking this so you can enjoy the discovery:|| hang a right when you cross the extension bridge, keep going until you find a boneyard. This is the only way to scan the worm. I found this place after traversing to the end of the area via Prawn.||

Yo has anybody noticed that PC switch and PlayStation Subnautica Below Zero is got mostly the same stuff in the same spot but I noticed while playing mobile that the sea glide parts, the vehicle construction Bay parts and the scanner parts and a few other parts are in a bunch of different random areas like nowhere near the spawn point for those scannable parts are in the council and PC version

So it’s been a pain to craft things but it only took me about an hour to be able to craft the seaglide and several other things above it

When on pc and console I was able to do It in about 15 minutes

Follow the cable like thingies down and you'll be there it's right next to pod spot. There's 3 possible drop pod locations so it's a bit different but it's easy to find

I have a 12 story high multipurpose tower fully reinforced and every story has a atomic reactor hidden inside the hole right above delta base which gives me stability and power

Youll probably need a seatruck cabin

But there are enough o2 tanks that you won't need a rebreather if you have a seatruck

@subtle estuary I'll give you my rough opinion on the game. Ive beaten subnautica 1 around 4 times now, beaten below zero twice. It depends a little bit on the reason you like the games. The better things in below zero which I liked a lot was the fact the environment looked prettier and higher quality, although there was less variety, but the game did genuinelly look pretty and even though it had less vcariety it still had really pretty biomes and locations especially the late game zone which I wont spoil. What I also really liked about below zero is the fact it is pretty rich in story, I actually liked the story MORE than in the first game. Especially the ending. That being said, in below zero you dont feel as isolated and alone as in the first one, which is something for example I didnt care about. Since its a singleplayer game, it actually felt nice not feeling alone personally. The game is shorter, but still worth the money in my eyes, takes me around 13-17 hours to beat the original game while knowing exactly what to do, took me around 9-10 hours to beat below zero while also kinda knowing what to do.

I think the reviews nitpick a lot, they dont review the game, they compare the game which is not healthy. You can always compare stuff to better stuff. Theres still a reason it almost has a 90% like ratio. Its still a great game

There is no limit on how many fish can be put in alien containment, but there is breeding limit, and above that they don't reproduce. The limit is 10 in multipurpose room and 18 in large room (per floor for stacked containments). Creatures count as their width in inventory, so 3x3 fish uses 3 slots from the breeding limit.

No, you can't craft it before. But you need to disable the tower to enter her greenhouse (and after that the last rooms of her base)

there is reinforced suit blueprint in main center ship one
and more stuff

You can go to her base without disabling the tower (and actually you cannot disable the tower before going to her base since that's where you get the test override module blueprint...)
