Truck can have many modules, more than 3 will slow it down though. Moonpool can be used for both vehicles but you’ll want to disconnect anything attached to the truck first. Build the dock later when you can, easier for the truck and also repairs it.

Not sure which is faster but truck does have a speed boost module, helps a lot.

Weather on land can definitely present a challenge when you're first getting through those areas. Being able to see the landscape in clear weather helps a lot. So if it's bad find some shelter or pick up some resources while you wait it out.

I've commented on this before, and it's something a lot of folks don't get. Sam didn't find a cure for the disease, she found something that would cure the frozen leviathan. The actual cure came from the first game, and was produced by the ||Sea Emperor babies||. The ||hatching enzyme|| from that game was just to get them to hatch, and was not the cure. What Sam found were things that now contained the cure (which was spread to the whole planet 2+ years prior) that could be used to cure this specific creature.

Best thing may be to reload your save.

When they sink, they'll only go so far before they stop moving, that's part of the graphics engine, it stops rendering changes further away from you. But if you swim close they'll start sinking again.

you might wanna ||go on either of the sides to reach the far end of the cave, opposite end to where you entered. when you start noticing red flower-like things you're close||
only the first time is scary. after that just annoying

if you have modules, undock them when docking, or drive really straight and carefully into it. Save first

I usually don’t build a moonpool until late game, and only as part of a large base. Usually if I need to I’ll just swap a power cell into the seatruck, but often I can get by until I have the prawn thermal module.
