anyone found way to force lowered fps? Even manual settings on GPU doesnt do anything. Game run smoothly just trying to lower fps to reduce gpu load, in game there is only hard coded settings 30 or 60(no slider or manual settings) , im trying to reach 45-50ish @wet ocean do you have any insight maybe? Settings on Driver site doesnt affect hardcoded settings at all, im at lose atm.(sorry for direct ping).

For those who encounter the error "dx12 is not supported on your system":
Subnautica 2 currently only supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. However, the game doesn't state this clearly enough — it only says "DirectX 12". This has caused many players with integrated graphics or older graphics cards to run into this error.

Honestly quite impressed with the optimization thus far. My pc falls in line with recommended medium, the game automatically set it for me and I reach a solid 60fps with minor dips into the mid 50s but doesn’t seem too intrusive.

I'm not sure why, but upscaling looks unusually good in this game to me. I'm usually one to hate how upscaling looks, but I'm using TSR performance (50% resolution!) and I can't tell much of a difference from native. Unfortunate I have to use it to get good performance, but I'm glad it looks good lol

Silver is north from ur spawnpod about 200, then theres a pointy thing with lights at the bottom, enter that cave and swim to the bottom where u will find another passage to another cave inside, once there u will find silver and a airpocket, I have a picture guide if anyone needs it

Go directly north from the lifepod around 215m away. There you will find a cave entrance with purple hanging floral. Inside there will be 10+ silver.

Runs exceptionally well on MacOS. Full 4k at 60 FPS on crossover with no issues regarding DX12. Had to apply a few overrides since it couldn’t find the C++ redists originally but now it works perfectly!!!

Found silver. Look in large cave systems. DOnt have to be deep, but ones with air pockets in them seem to contain silver in some locations!
