ok.. you know in subnautica 1 we had heat zones which was like a soft way of discouraging players from going near them without proper equipment (the lavazone) and in sub2 what if we had a biome like the lava zone, except there is a strong current at the entrance which prevents players from being able to swim in, and requires a FAST vehicle to fight against the current and reach the biome? i feel like it's SUCH a cool idea lmk what u thinK ❤️

What I really like about the "Sampling Pavilions" is that Sub 1 so clearly tries to encourage the player to make multiple bases throughout the game, and like u can totally just live in the lost river like everything u need to do so is there, but why would you? the chronology of the game is this: We go on the cidada to zezura, as digital data. The ship travels to zezura but gets diverted en route. The ship crashes and the alive crew explores and makes bases. They all die (probably due to the bloom/blight). Some time later, the ship begins to degrade and 4 crew members are printed to follow a mission. Immediately after, the cicada begins collapsing into a deep chasm. We fall down, but find a lifepod and rise to the surface in it. The game then properly begins
