Hi everyone I just wanted to share my subnautica fishes: Silence and Slaughtering leviathans

I was just curious if they sound cool and interesting

Silence Leviathan

Length: 70m.
Diet: Carnivorous
Living Deapth: 300-600 m.
Damage: 75 hp.

Datebank:

1. Mouth:
   This creatures mouth can open very wide sideways. Such evolutionary ability is due to the necessity to grab as many fish as possible. It is an adaptability to its strange evolutionary blindness.

2. Horn:
   It's not clear what a horn is used for exactly, but it is noted that on the horn there is an additional sensory organs to detect movements in front. It is believed that this helps with creatures hunting. In addition, it is also thought to be use its horn for larger prey to injure them when hunting.

3. Blindness:
   Even though this creature is blind it has a very sensitive movement detecting sensory that can detect almost precise movement of other organisms in water. When hunting such sensory ability is increased to detect near up to 100 meters.

4. Forearms:
   Being very different from other fish this leviathan has evolutionary forearms that help both propulsion and hunting. On his hands, it has webs which help crearure to swim without much disturbance from other fish.

5. Living environment:
   This leviathan usually lives near cliffs where there are fishes and as well where it can dig a cave for living and hunting. They live up to 2-4 individuals. Silence Leviathan hunts small packs of fish and sometimes medium or large prey. Such prey include: Peeper, Stalker, Boneshark, Reaper leviathan and other large fish.

6. Hunting:
   This leviathan as the name suggests is a silent creature. He does not produce any sound, nor does it scream. It hunts in a group of two. Such leviathans live in their dug-up caves to hide and ambush. Since Silence leviathan is blind and he uses his very sensitive organs to detect movements of other creatures to ambush and grab prey with his wide mouth which are filled teeth that are very good with grabbing and tearing. After the ambush, the Silence leviathan remains in the open for a while swimming around or staying still. They still actively hunt. After a while, they go back inside their caves for hiding or hunting.

Assessment: It is advised to be wary of this leviathan it is less threatening than other leviathan class creatures, but once met it is recommended to move slowly and do not use any equipment. Since it used to mostly attacking large school of fish it should not detect or attack a person, but it is recomended to get out of their hunting range if not slow movement is required to survive or wait for a moment when they are going to their cave and flee.

Slaughtering Leviathan

Length: 121m.
Diet: Carnivorous
Living Depth: 400-700 m.
Damage: 100 hp.

1. Mouth:
   It's mouth opens wide upwards to grab prey and tear it apart or do most damage to prey. When it opens it's mouth it's eyeballs are exposed which are its biggest weakness. They can be poked to stun this levaithan. His eyes are quite though so it cannot be damaged due to its evolution ofnprobably many times damaging it due to its weakness.

2. Teeth:
   Like its name suggests, slaughtering, it has teeth which is perfect for grabing and tearing prey. Those teeths are placed weirdly, but it is for a reason which is to grab fish fast and efficiently. It also has two sets of teeth inside of his mouth, for more damage and for being able to fight other dangerous fishes.

3. Eyes:
   Eyes of this creature are the mostly unused organ. In the dark his eyes are useless since it cannot see. When in the dark fish covers it with grey layer to protect it from any sea debrie or any fish. It uses his eyes only when hunting in more lighted sea enviroments for more direct and faster hunting process. Due to being its weakness after some time in evolution it became imposible to kill its sight, but it can be stunned.

4. Sensory organs:
   This Leviathan also has movement detecting sensory organs. Those are used to reach the most efficient hunt. Organs are uses when it is in the dark enviroment to detect any prey small or large for food. One sensory organ are below his mouth, one at the back and near its tail.

5. Bio-emilescents:
   It uses its bio-emilescents to attract fish to its locations. Those light are not just simple lights, but they glow like one of the flowers of bloodkelp to attract the fish. As well to attract any other carnivirous fish for easy prey.

6. Living enviroment:
   This Leviathan thrives in the dark and sometimes in the daylight. It lives in the habbitats known for other dangerous creatures like Reaper, Silence leviathans, crab squids. It will hunt any creature came into contact with this levathian.

7. Hunting:
   This creatures hunting technique is some what bold and good. It uses his sensory organs to detect any fish and fast like a bullet to grab and tear its prey. Also in darker enviroment it uses his bio-emilescents to attract fish and with his sensory organs detect and cacth its prey. It hunts any size fish from small and large. Mostly it is sand sharks, crab squids, bonesharks, but sometimes even more dangerous ones like Reaper, Ghost or Silence leviathans.

Assesment:
This leviathan is very dangerous and it is advised to avoid it at any cost. This fish is quick and brutal. It is best to use torpedos for distraction if encountering such leviathan. Its sensory organs will be fooled and trick creature into chasing it. If it is too late and fish is chasing you aiming at its eye is advised to stun animal an fleeing from it as far as you can with any vechile technology.

It is not same at all. It looks completely different like I intent it to be. Also it lives near cliffs not void. Cannot see and only detect from any movement, but only attack when there is alot of fish. It makes 0 sound and lives in group of 2. This fish has no limbs, but mine does. Idk how you see it as the same. This fish the Silence uses his organ to detect prey using his silencing ability and detect prey that way thats why it is called the Silence. Mine does not make sound of anykind and is fast and kind of cave fish thus Silence Leviathan

i had an oooold art book i drew subnautica stuff in, might post something here, its super cringy stuff though

Art by rrrinett a subnautica Monster concept art I commissioned. A Sea Leviathan Hunter who stalks its prey, it can be found in the Grand Reef wandering around, for the most part its passive with the player, unless the player is using a seamoth or a cyclops or get extremely close to scan. After the sunbeam is destroyed the Leviathan Hunter will begun stalking the player from afar and go in lengths to snatch the players vehicle and destroy it, sometimes If it stalks the player to a base it will destroy it either if the player is inside or missing. The Sea Leviathan Hunter will stop stalking the player if it moves under <900 Crush Depth, merely losing interest and resume its passive state. The Iconic characteristic of the Sea Hunter it's his massive manta wings that resemble arms, able to stretch and fold by moving his muscle fibers in his shoulders same as a human moves his shoulder blades, his pseudo arms can move as fast as a man swing a fist underwater, Each arm contains five large fingers that are covered in a fin membrane that can use it like a hand able to lift, grab and even punch a prey, other times it uses them to relax its muscles making them look like they are manta ray wings as he swims around. Its feet and hands are able to dig the ground or pierce the flesh of a fish or predator. The White glowing spots on its body are actually filters able to carry air and use them to be able to breath in land for briefly six hours. Its tail has a small hook that is able to detect the currents and works as a navigational guide, it can detect any strange current and if a strong current pulls him off his course it can relax his body and concentrate his muscles to the tail and "hook" on it, like a flag on a strong wind. Its Tongue is devil tail shaped, despite been pointy its actually very soft, when consuming food that is harmful with toxins or other things the tongue pushes it away causing a strong gooey saliva that makes it look like he has rabies.

Art by rrrinett a subnautica Monster concept art I commissioned. A Bio-mass weapon of Destruction made by the Architects as a last effort to purge the Kharaa Bacterium by disintegrating the Infected. Dubbed as Angel Face or Purifier it stands a good 100 meters tall and has large fin like wings and a tail to navigate through the waters, its arms have a pair of claws the palms have a sticky membrane which it can use to grab things with ease, whatever is an alien artifact or even a player, its limbs have a another pair of claws similar that of Warpers who's uses is mainly to slash or sink it to larger creatures to immobilize from behind. The tail is able to sense different changes of currents in the echo system as also works as a defensive mechanism to push away enemies, a swing from its tail is enough to send a small shockwave when it hits solid ground. Its neck can stretch another good 6 feet and can strech in all directions with ease. Because of the extra joints on its neck it can move beyond the normal range of motion. under its fin like wings their is a filter which can store both air and water on high capacity, making it breathe both underwater and on land for at least a period of half or full day. The Iconic look of this creature its the pair of eyes that hides under its pseudo-wings which contain Ion energy, similar that to the Quarantine Enforcement Platform. When active or when it spots an infected Organism or a threat of similar caliber such as very aggressive leviathans, the pseudo wings open and as its eyes look at something, it concentrates Ion energy on its eyes and unleashes a devasting laser beam which disintegrates anything it touches.

Behavior Angel Face lays dormant under the Quarantine Enforcement Platform and activates once the Sunbeam is destroyed searching and communicating with the other warpers to eradicate the player, despite its looks it has high intelligence and its able to know the location of the players base, via using warpers as spies, as also sending encrypting messages, through the use of warper it can summon a pair of them or even activate a teleportation close to the alien bases. Its primary goal is to eradicate the infected. After the player is cured it will continue patrolling around as its new primary goal is to wait for extraction from the planet and to restore the Disease Research Facility as also terminate the remaining infected and outsider monsters

I call it the kelp leviathan, I imagine it grew so large that (similar to reefbacks) allowed ecosystems to grow on it, it has giant lillypads as its 2 front feet and uses its back feet to steady it in the water, a perfectly docile leviathan that can even have player bases on them, allowed people to travel where the fish goes

The thermal Leviathan

It would hang around a new biome on the edge of the crater called the thernal feilds which would be a deep massive plateau of sand and thermal vents

They would nest around the vents for warmth and stuff

They are also insainly light sensitive, having some of the best eyesight out of all the Leviathans in terms of light detection, in a sence they see in olny bright light as they evolved to do so after spending so long in total darkness. They can detect somthing as small as the players flashlight from 100s of meters away so in the biome you would have to rely purely on night vision of sonar to see.

Also they are the olny natural predators of the ghost Leviathan. There huge scythe like arms were evolved to latch on or implale larger creatures. Their main method of attack against ghosts is to stab into the fleshy membrane and to lock onto the flailing ghost and bite into it eating as much as it needs before delatching and disappearing back into the darkness from which it came.

This specimen appears to be the remains of the crafts pilot, which likely died upon impact. Due to the unique circumstances of the ships interior, the specimen exists in a state between standard decomposition, and mummification. Scans of the body show an intact skeletal, digestive, reproductive, and respiratory system.
1 - The brain:
Many organs including its brain, seem to be intact, the brain is relatively bigger than ours, its exact intelligence unfortunately can not be calculated, but judging by how remarkably advanced their technology is, they were likely far more intelligent than both us, and the precursors.
2 - Digestive tract and respiratory system:
The lack of sharp teeth, suggests that these creatures may have been omnivores or vegetarians, this corresponds with what remains in its stomach, being purely plant matter. They looked to have breathed oxygen much like us with what looks to be a pair of lungs, curiously it seems to lack any kind of vocal cords, indecateing they communicated purely through hand signals, or more interestingly telepathy, the size of the brain could also lend credence to this possibility.
3 - Skeletal, and Circulaolatry system:
The creatures skeleton remains mostly intact, being composed of calcium much like ours.
Its Circulaolatry system however is unfortunately in much worse condition the little we can gather is that they possibility had multiple hearts due to the presence of a pair of organs resembling a heart, but this could easily be anything else.
4 - Reproductive system:
The creatures may have been a single sex species, as this specimen is a hermaphrodite, tho it is possible that not all were like this and we just happened to find one that was, more specimens would have to be recovered to confirm either of these hypotheses.

Btw, The Arctic Ghost worm leviathan Is the same thing but also supposed to have a features of the ice worm. Its mouth is like a exoskeleton that has a hot tip, the small legs to maneuver on land it also hot tipped. And its blue glow is replaced with a orange glow.

there are 2 variations of the ghost worm: the blue one only lives in deeper water like the fabricator caves or the void and tree spires
and the one that you mention with the ice worm features which lives in the ARCTIC SPIRES and GLACIAL BASIN just like the ice worm but way more freaky giving players flashbacks about the reaper
