i played Below Zero first. then i tried to play subnautica and started to understand why people are very frustrated with Below Zero..

first off, the prawn controls like a sack of bricks on oiled up ice so it's hard to get in
BUT the cyclops' moonpool also has a delay where you can't dock it right after the cover opens, so you sort of have to wait a second

After i got down to the inactive lava zone it sped up. It took me a while to get to inactive but once i did it took me only 2 more days (only a few in game hours) to actually complete the entire game

Yes and no: fragments are generated when you load an area for the first time. So if you go to new area which has possible drill arm fragment spawns, new ones can be generated. But they don't spawn on area you have already been to.

No hostiles asides from bleeders. Ruby, gelsacks, a good wreck with usually thermal plant and a guaranteed cyclops fire suppression system, reinforced dive suit, and a vehicle upgrade console databox. Also has shale, lithium, sandstone. And usually a timecapsule
