I need biome recommendations for my next base. Relatively new file, no cyclops yet but I’m open to building anywhere (within reason). Currently I’m atop the mushroom tree but I’m getting bored and want somewhere more scenic.

People with the issue have those in their log file, so since the path is truncated at 260 characters I thought it would be a problem with long paths on Windows, but even if I ask them to set that in their registry that doesn't solve the problem.
So maybe it isn't. It could be a regional setting.

I liked the seamoth as a quick ferry from one base to another, but when I got attacked by the leviathan, despite having hull reinforcement and max perks, the dang thing crushed the moth, while a warper took me away from it.

No. I played Nitrox with friends but at the Moment I have other projects and I totally miss the large rooms because you have to play legacy plus I play on Linux and haven't tried a way to load mods at all. Non Steam Workshop mods is tricky. The mod loaders are made for Windows most it works in proton but still I like Vanilla Subnautica too much.
