Technically you don't even need that prawn suit fragment since there are only 3 outside Aurora anyway, and Aurora has 5 (you have to go to Aurora to unlock prawn, and it has enough fragments by itself)

You should get more than the Seaglide. You want laser cutter, repair tool, I encourage you to get the propulsion cannon as well. Also if you don't want to cheat your way through you should wait for a radio message asking you to find something inside.

Also the Seaglide takes slots and I don't think it's super useful inside.

Just avoid them. If you have the propulsion cannon you can use it to get rid of the stingers.

Well, the large room has space for 4 bioreactors, and alien containment uses up 2 of those, so the alien containment in large room is roughly twice the size of containment in mp room

It also has double space in the growbed
