Marblemelon (and bulbo tree) give high amounts of both food and water. Chinese potato and lantern fruit give food but only little water. Lantern tree has a benefit of not needing replanting like other edible plants

Marblemelon has benefit to others in that the seed is 1x1, so you can fit 4 in plant pot, 16 in growbed or even use the wall-mounted plant shelf, whereas the other 3 edible land plants all take 2x2 space in pot/growbed

What you wanna do is get a cyclops (max depth upgrade), have a shield upgrade, sonar upgrade. Make your way over to the bulb zone and where lifepod 12 is, using sonar you'll find a ledge/overlook, stay to the left of it and hug the ground, keep going and you'll come across the entrance, its a large hole to the lost river (you'll know cuz there will be like green stuff on the sea floor)
