One per slot. The round containment that goes in a multipurpose room has 4 slots (I guess, maybe depends on if it’s a 1x1 plant or 2x2, but they’re divided into 4 sections). The big room houses a large containment, and it houses a lot more slots for plants

You could use a propulsion cannon too. But you have to tank the damage or use the claw (default arm) of the Prawn Suit to grab the resources.
