You go behind the ||tree cove, going down the blue waterfall; after that you’ll transition to the ILZ. But you won’t see kyanite drillable deposits until you get sort of near the crush limit of your prawn, I think around 1200m or so, give or take, in the ILZ||

I’d place a beacon back there behind the place where you go down so you can find your way back especially if you made an outpost there, trust me it saves you a lot of hassle like I said if you need do go back to make upgrades and stuff

Well you can do it a few ways, it’s not 100% guaranteed, but I can tell you how I’ve done it and it seems to work for me
Since lifepod messages are given in a sort of order, at least most are, kind of depending on where you go and what you do, you’ll have to stop listening to radio messages ||once you first get a message from Avery Quinn of the Sunbeam that they’re aware of your situation. The most important, is you must stop receiving messages (don’t answer the radio) BEFORE they start making their approach to 4546b. If they start the countdown, you’ve gone too far. At that point, play the game as you normally would, just don’t answer the radio at all. Once you’r cured, shut the QEP down. Now you can answer the radio again.||
